Count me in the 140's wannabe club. High 140's probably. At 5'7" I start to look gaunt when I get into the mid to low 140's. But at my current 190 pounds, I have quite a ways to go to get there. I'll live vicariously through you all in the meantime. I haven't been in the 140's in about 12 years!
ndoles- i'd say, "i'll race you", but i think i'd lose! but i sure love seeing the number "4". The last time i saw that number it was preceded by a 2, rather than a 1!
LOL, Margie...isn't "losing" the name of the game??? (pun intended) All jokes aside, you have had an awesome wt loss journey, and I am sure it will continue! The 40's does feel great...never thought I would see it again, cause everyone kept saying.."You're older, so it's natural to weigh more...BUT IT'S NOT NORMAL, and I refuse to go along with that anymore! I'm going to be one hot mama next year when I turn 66 year young!
i agree. "common" and "normal" are two different creatures! we should actually weigh less as we age, because we have less muscle.
one of my friends actually told me we should carry an extra 10# as we get older, so we don't look as wrinkly.... i'd rather put up with a few wrinkles, and be at a healthier weight!
