laughing again.... that does not help me a whole lot!

although i'm FREEZING since starting up again, and right now i'd take a warm body in my bed of just about any persuasion! i think i'm going to have to train my terriers to sleep on top of my feet.

Margie, laughing hard! I don't know if I'm freezing because of the HCG or because of the thyroid meds. Even when I start losing hair again, I won't know why....why am I laughing????

Colleen, I don't know the exact doses....put progesterone under my tongue to dissolve at night, estrogen in the morning...no testosterone as my blood tests in April showed high levels. I did take new blood tests last week and waiting for the results. The doc said we need to get the weight off first.. then we can look at really lowering the estrogen, keeping the progesterone and upping the thyroid as this dose seems lower than synthroid .75...... knowing there is really no real comparison between compounded as opposed to synthetics. He also added DHEA and Iodine but I got off everything except the compounded thyroid and my Niaspan 2000 mg (ick) and baby aspirin when I started HCG.

Looking forward to this journey with you all...

How much thyroid are you on? I bet you need at least 2 grains. Interesting way to take progesterone! Mine is cream but I'm sure it absorbs fine through the mucous membranes of the mouth. Quite honestly, the best thing with the bioidenticals is to take enough to get your levels to a woman of 25. I wouldn't let him lower them to "normal" for a woman your age.

Colleen, 1 grain of thyroid. I know, too low..... was diagnosed hypothyroid...subclinical ....was within normal range last October but symptoms of low libido, hair loss, difficulty losing weight and hair loss led to the meds. I am still kind of afraid of the estrogen with the history of breast cancer in my family. I hope the tests will show I was on too much! Will keep you posted. I agree with not trying to be normal ...I like optimal much better. I do have a lot of confidence in this new doctor, for one, he does not like synthetics! He runs the Longevity Center here in Austin, Texas and we are definitely on the same page. I will be 62 next week and I do NOT ever want to look or feel like my image of 62!

Keep up the good work, you look amazing.

Ah super! What's his name? I've heard of that center. What happens is that we get thyroid resistance as we get older due to lack of progesterone. The levels can look fine but they aren't.

You will need less the longer you are on progesterone. :-) There is not the cancer risk with bioidentical. They are mostly the safer estrogens plus they are balanced with progesterone.
