So, I've gone to complete starvation to now, I could care less about eating lunch today. Has anyone skipped meals? Does it somehow negatively affect your losses? I'm sure it's not the best idea but if I'm not hungry and it could increase my losses, I'm all for it!!

I couldn't find anyting in Dr ATW Simeons manuscript that talks about SKIPPING a meal during the injection phase, I only found a reference regaring SKIPPING MEALS after injections.

I would think that skipping a meal will not be a good idea because you need the 500 calories to keep out of starvation mode. Maybe you should consider breaking up your meals during the daytime.

I did it, simply because I did not have time to eat and I lost a litte more the next day.

No don't skip meals. At least eat your protein and vegetable. If you don't eat, your body goes into starvation mode and weight loss stops.

I agree with cathyx... when I was on the homeopathic drops, at first I was eating less than 500 calories a day and struggled with both hunger and stalling. When I brought myself up to the limit, I did better on hunger and had less trouble losing.

I had a hectic back to back schedule @ work and only had time to eat my snacks today. Would it be ok to have a bigger portion of protein for dinner?? say 170 grams??

With hcg, your body is already burning fat which equates to fuel so it won't go into starvation mode unless you quit taking the hcg.

carolynd, I think it depends on the person. I know some who stick to protocol and eat 500 calories and there are others who eat a little more protein and feel better.

This is what it says in "Pounds & Inches":

"The diet used in conjunction with HCG must not exceed 500 Calories per day, and the way these Calories are made up is of utmost importance. For instance, if a patient drops the apple and eats an extra breadstick instead, he will not be getting more Calories but he will not lose weight. There are a number of foods, particularly fruits and vegetables, which have the same or even lower caloric values than those listed as permissible, and yet we find that they interfere with the regular loss of weight under HCG, presumably owing to the nature of their composition. Pimiento peppers, okra, artichokes and pears are examples of this."
