And recent research says that pills will do just as well, and actually better at keeping the blood levels even. They used to say it had to be injections but they've found out that's not true. :-) I get my B12 injections at Walgreens, by the way. My GP just prescribes it. Colleen
I love this forum. i cant stop reading all the discussions. I started today, Nov. 7, 2009. I live in Asia. I have 35 lbs to lose. I'm only 5'4. Im also hypothyroid. I took the anti-suppresant pills last 2008 and i really did lose a lot of weight but the drawback was having highblood pressure! yikes! that's not right! so when i stopped the pills, my weight went up. Walking and biking helps alot but sometimes I just cant find time to do it.
Good luck to everyone. I'm determined to lose all the weight off. Im going to blog about it and hopefully blogging will keep me motivated.
You can do it, crissy! This protocol works in an unbelievable way! What thyroid are you on? A natural one works better than the synthetic. Naturethroid is good or any dessicated thyroid med. Colleen
I am still at the same weight. This seems like an awful lot of sacrifice and I don't feel like anything is happening. I don't know why I am moody, hungry, and everything else that I am NOT supposed to be.
If I can't benefit from weight loss, do you think that at least it will help "reset" my hypothalamus and thyroid? I am considering just getting through the 40 days so I can get all the shots just so that my body can be "reset." What do you veterans on this diet think about that?
Honestly, I just don't want to gift my money to that clinic again.
You're on homeopathic, aren't you, Weston? Have you tried upping it? If you are feeling like this then the hcg is not working. If it's not working, it won't reset your hypothalamus. You have to get this straightened out. How many drops are you on now?
I am on an actual Dr prescription of HCG. I am injecting it subq. I went to a clinic that believes in following the original protocol by Dr. Simeon. The needles are pre-filled for me. I know they told me it was 125 units, but what I can read is that each one is filled to 1.5 (or what I believe is 150 units).
I read the book, but I also believed everything the center director told me about the HCG helping get rid of the fat and allowing me to lose weight a lot more quickly than on the diet alone.
I have tried reading through all the newbie information and I haven't been able to read absolutely all of it. I am wondering about how ovulation affects this process. I left my book at the clinic, 'cause I took it with me to record my weight on a chart.
I have to admit, I am feeling down about this whole process, but I do not want anyone else to feel down about it too. A lot of you are doing great and I believe in your success.
weston- again, i feel your dose is TOO LOW for you. if they absolutely will not increase it (and i'd vigorously request that), you can shoot what you have into a sterile vial (must wipe the top with alcohol first), and re-load your syringes. you'll end up with fewer days worth, but you're not going to be able to go 40 days starving like this.
Weston, totally agree with Margie! You shouldn't be hungry and you should be loosing lbs. I went through a clinic on my first round and lost weight and NEVER was hungry. They had me doing IM at 200iu. I KNOW that IM should be done at 125iu, but it worked for me. So I am doing this round on my own and I mixed at 150iu. But by Thursday I was EXTREMELY hungry and I knew I shouldn't be. I increased my dosage to 200iu and I haven't been hungry and the lbs are falling.
Don't wait another day, up your dosage!!! Don't suffer another day.
