Come on all you Jan starters! Let's have a party. Even going to shut down the beer in the beer garden (for me - not the guests)!
November and December are loaded with excuses for parties and foods. Hey, that's part of what it's all about. No official holidays in Jan or Feb except vanentines day. Don't eat then, just do singing valentines. Got a straight shot into about June before something serious happens to interupt or tempt. Wow! There goes another 35# +/_!!

IM doesn't hurt any more than SC. Once the point of the needle passes the surface you don't feel anything anyway. "I can co anything for 43 days" and I'M STICKING TO IT!!"

IM is sooooo simple! My meals are not an event. I do them with the same aproach as I would taking a pill! I just have the meat and veggies and get busy with the day.

It's a non-event! You can still have an eventful time with your family without having food be the major part of the moment. Gee, have them be the major part of the moment - you'll forget about the food. I was never, I REPEAT - NEVER hungry. Sometimes I needed water and therefore was empty, but not hungry. Love those shots....

Thanks for the address for the needles. I used 27 ga 1 1/4 in. My wife jabbed me every morning. I said it was her chance to get back at me! Ha! Actually, hardly felt a thing. Couple of times she said she bent the needle. I didn't even know it. Rotated from left to right anterior cheek (ain't that polite?) and left and right arm. Worked out very well.
Looks like you girls, Doyle and I have a January party in the makings.
I'm getting anxious for it to start!

Yeah I think I'm leaning towards a January start. Less chaos. I want the first go-round the best that I can make it. Plus it'll help to have team of people starting at the same time!!

i can see that the 27 g would be ok- the 22's were definitely not! quite painful, in fact.

keith- there is also the advantage of your wife doing them- hurts more in the thigh than the "cheek". but those are too hard to do on yourself.

    ckell- stomach or mid-thigh.
