1. How easily did you stabilize during P3? How far off are you from your LIW?I am on my second P2 round at the moment, VLCD 20, HHCG spray. I only did 3 weeks P3 after a 42 day P2 round, and did NOT stabilize. I started my 2nd round P2 at 10 lbs over LDW from the last round, and am just now reaching my LDW from previous round. Its been a wasted P2, basically. So I am going to P3 in a few days here.
2. Did you eat sugar-free foods with artificial sweeteners, like splenda, during P2 and/or P3? Or some other kind of sweetener, like stevia?
Lots of stevia during P2, occasional Splenda. Diet cola on occasion as well as 0 calorie energy drinks. P3 I added sugar free icecream and chocolates immediately and in a big way. That I believe caused me not to stabilize. Couldn't seem to stop eating those things once I started though - could there be an addiction here?
3. Did you make a point of eating "natural" or organic foods? Natural meaning minimally processed foods and avoiding chemicals, preservatives and artificial sweeteners. No, not at all. But ate mostly home prepared foods and no fast food or takeout at all.
4. Are there any other factors that you think may have affected stabilizing, like eating sugar and/or starch, adding new foods in too quickly, or food sensitivities? The gains from the SF goodies were controlled by high protein and lots of water the next days. What really sunk the proverbial ship was when after only 5 days of P3 I had a dinner party and fell off the wagon massively, to the tune of 4 big homemade white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, 8 baby eclairs, and a nice big snifter of brandy...this gave me a 5 lb boost on the scale the next morning!!! then during my steak day the following day, I was at a trade show and very hungry, so I sampled a few carb things - tuna on a cracker, chocolate milk, and a few tortilla chips. That was the beginning of the fall and I never did recover LDW from then. Another thing that I think is a factor is that I did not do the 72 hours from last dose before starting P3. It seemed to me that since you had to take the hhcg spray every 12 hours then it would be out of your system for 12 hours. Right? And the source where I got the hhcg has a support board and their consensus was that there is no real reason to wait the 72 hours. This time around I will be doing 72 hours, hhcg or no! I have learned a lot and expect better success this round. This board has been excellent!!! Thank you all
