Apologies for the multiple posts, I'm blackberry challenged today I guess!
And thanks for your input. I understand fluctuations. But 3 lbs up from ldw and I am still on vlcd. That seems messed up! And have been using same scale all along no trouble. And tom left last week so that's not it either.
So should I start p3 a day early with a steak day? Oh and the past 2 mornings I have been so queasy I had to eat my fruit n melba early. It cut the queasy feeling. But that was weird.
Nutshell, great job on those smaller sizes. Isn't it a great feeling to be able to try on things and have them look good and fit? I sure am enjoyng that as well. You deserve those kinds of rewards for your discipline and willpower even through your tough times!

Again, sorry for cluttering up the board with repetitive posts - I went back & tried to fix it. I don't want to offend all you super folks that have been such an inspiration to me on my weight loss journey, I have so enjoyed reading all your experiences!

So my struggle is to get past the 140s. I have done 3 rounds of the hhcg in the past year and a bit, each time getting to right around 140 lbs and stalling there. This time I was excited to see 137 as my ldw but so disappointed to be STILL eating VLCD and BACK OVER 140!!! I am so very frustrated. I am 5'2" and my goal weight is 125, so I still do have a ways to go. But having said that, I've been 140ish for a lot of years before I gained 30 lbs with my desk job. COuld this be an old set point? And what do I need to do to blow past it?
    I need some hope here!

If you've stayed on the diet, I still bet it's a fluctuation in your scale, that can happen with no warning. Put something on it that weighs about 20 pounds or so then try reweighing yourself if you're at home. And just drink plenty of water today. I wouldn't do a steak day if you're not in P3 yet!

Annette, obviously you lost your card bc your going to be buying size 8s in the not-too-distant-future! That is SOOOOO exciting. I can't wait for that happen to me!!! Very encouraging.

Sorry to hear Elmer's numbers went back up, how frustrating for you both. I'm glad you're finding bright spots in the day.

Well I am stabilized at .2 above my LDW. I have been the same weight for three days now. I am still on my TOM so who knows if it may go down in a few days. But I feel good about where it is.

Please say a little prayer for my baby if you have a chance. He has pink eye, sinus infection and his ear drum ruptured last night. My other two boys have pink eye and one of them also has strep.

I have no idea why we are all so sick this last month. I just want to hide in a cave until Spring time gets here!

Lucky - don't sweat it, my blackberry does the same things sometimes :o) Yes it is a great feeling to be going down in sizes :o) I would take Colleens advice on the P3 & scale issue!

Elaine - you will get to those size 8's I know it!!! You soo deserve it :o)

Erecca - That is AWESOME with the weight :o) see all the stressing before for nothing, I knew you would stabalize & on TOM even - thats even better!!! I know how you feel with the sick kids! My middle son had so many ruptures wben he was little! 4 sets of tubes (actually it may have been 5!) I don't miss those days at all. I can totally empathize with you on how it feels to watch them go through that! Pink eye is the worse :( you poor thing!! Lysol, lysol, lysol!! Wipes & spray EVERYWHERE!! I'm so used to wiping down everything now because of having to keep Elmer from getting sick before the transplant! I wipe everything down several times a day. Pantry door know & the door & jam because they like to hold onto it, fridge handle & the inside of the door, kitchen cabinet knobs & the sides of. I have to go around & think about everything that is touched & I spray the grandkids toys down with lysol too!!! Good luck hun I will keep my prayers up for health in your house!!

I found my ATM card, so I am happy - tired though only 3-1/2 hrs sleep again last night. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight & actually get to weigh myself. Tomorrow it will be exactly a week since I last weighed & a week since we began this part of our journey. I was so afraid that the stress was going to affect things I guess I will find out tomorrow but I feel good & like I haven't gained to much :o) I do need to up my calories a little & hospital chicken & cottage cheese is getting old LOL

Annette i had a similar experience today. I had some spare time and was near some nice clothes stores. Normally i don't even look sideways at clothes bc i can only wear plus sizes. I decided to go on and try some stuff on. I am officially out of plus sizes!!!!! I tried on some cute pants, which were even long enough (shock of all shocks, i think the long pants style is working for me) and some cute tops. I couldn't actually afford any of them, lol, but they looked so cute in the dressing room. It was such a rush.

Annette, i would be emaciated if i could wear a size 8 i think. Or a model, lol. For me a size 12 is pretty thin. When i was my very skinniest in college i could wear a 10, but everything was super short i remember.

YAY ELAINE!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! That is awesome :o) No more plus size!! Isn't that a rush??? Don't worry I can't afford half the stuff (well actually all the stuff lol) I want either but it is nice to dream. I was a size 6 about 15 years ago. I would be happy with a size 7/8 or 9/10. I am only 5'4" & built with a medium build so no matter how much I lose I have always looked a little stocky lol

I am still excited about buying the jeans last night LOL I can't wait to start the next round on Christmas - MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME & HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO -my bday is Jan 5th & I just know that by then I will have to buy some new clothes - darn Elmer how soon after a heart transplant can you get a job your wife needs new clothes LOL JK guys don't get all shocked LOL
