    Good dog Holly! Way to keep Brandeline from getting puffy. The chili didn't seem to affect me. I was down .5 lbs this morning. So that made me back to being 3 lbs below my LDW. That was the best part of my day. So, I haven't been feeling good for several days. I have also been very, very stressed out, no sleep, very tired and fatigued. I need to get a handle on all this stuff going on with my health and life.
    Anyways, so the chili wasn't bad enough. On the way home from the doctor's office, I stopped and got a sausage egg biscuit with cheese from McDonalds and I ate the biscuit. I know, a big no no. But today at that moment, I didn't care. Actually most of the day - I am surprised I haven't eaten a whole lot more that I shouldn't have. I have been thinking I have soooo far to go and what would it matter. No one can tell I have lost anyways and I am going to have to do several, several rounds to get to a weight I would be happy with.

    OK, so I just read that back and I really sound like a downer! Sorry, just having a very bad day. I will be better tomorrow after hopefully getting some sleep.
    Great job in dropping more puffy pounds!

    That's really cool the chili didn't do anything bad to you karebear! Hope you're as lucky with the biscuit.

    I'm afraid I was a bit naughty yesterday too and had about 6 soda crackers after dinner with some cheese and almonds. And looks like I did pay for it. This morning's weight, 206. Right at the edge of steak day requiring. So today I'll be doing a high protein day and no dairy.

    Hang in there karebear. No one else has walked up to me and said I looked skinnier either. But my jeans know it, and that makes me happy at least. I have quite a ways to go to. I think my optimal weight is around 140 for my height and build. That means I have at least 3 more rounds to go assuming I was able to drop 20 pounds each round (and I didn't get there this round!) So hang in there! At least we know this method works! I'ts cool to be able to frown at the scale one morning, change your diet for one day, and see a result the next day. I've never had that capability before!

    Ok- so I really don't know what or how this happened. Yes I was very stressed out that day but when I weighed the next morning, it said I had gained 9.5 lbs. How could that be?
    That is sooooooooo crazy to me. Well I guess it should have been a steak day but I wasn't able to do that. Then that night I ended up having chinese food. What in the world am I thinking right now. Anyways, I guess that didn't seem to hurt me. This morning when I weighed, I was back down 6 lbs so that made me ony 1 lb over my LDW...Yay! But how in the heck could I have gained over 9 lbs in one day?????

    I need to apologize for my rant the other night. Sooooo not like me. I try to stay positive and usually don't share the negativity.
    So how did the high protein day work? I agree with how cool it is that one day can change anything. So was Holly able to suck a few more puffy pounds away?

    Sounds like it was a blip in your scales, karebear! But at least you're down to normal now. :-)

    Huge change, but I totally know what you mean karebear. We bought a new scale because our old one would suddenly go crazy for a day, and either not be able to give a definitive answer no matter how many times you looked, or just bounce crazily from one day to the next. We were using our binge day weights as starting weight because we were pretty sure it read wrong on the day before binge day. Our old one was a Taylor, and I've heard other complaints about them not being very reliable. Cool that you didn't gain much for real though!

    Uh, it went okay. Still feeling a bit puffy though even when I woke up today. I did egg day yesterday because I was still feeling crummy even then. Seemed a bit like a little flare up of general inflammation. I guess body did not like the 6 soda crackers (carbs) with cheese. Guess that means pizza is out unless I can get this sensitivity under control! *cries* Holly is still cool though. I was shocked how few days it took 'her' to get the floors so clean. I mean 4 cats and us lazy vacumers, you can imagine how much hair there was. Been running her every day once per floor now. Place looks great! Makes me want to clean other things now while she's doing the floors.

    I'm going to eat normally today sans dairy and see what happens. Missing my salads.

    Oh forgot to mention, that dratted husband of mine is cheating the end of his P3 with P4 foods and hasn't gained an ounce. Day before yesterday he had a piece of regular sugar candy. No gain. Yesterday, 2 pieces of candy, and had weetabix with regular sugar and milk for evening after supper snack. Still no gain.

    Thanks Grammy and Brandeline. I really think the scale was correct. I felt really swollen and tired. I forgot I had gotten a shot while at the doctor also, so maybe that played a part in it as well. I am down 2 more lbs this morning so now I am back to 1 lb below my LDW. I was surprised again. My neice invited us to dinner and she had made some twiced baked potatoes, chicken, rolls, and chocolate chip cookies. I ate some potatoes, a roll, and even a chocolate chip cookie. And then this morning I was still down. Wednesday is my last day of P3 so perhaps I am stabalized but I really hope I haven't messed up the metabolism setting by eating these things that are not P3 friendly.

    I have also told that negative, bad self to go away! I don't like when you come around. Hahaha - I hope that works. Maybe Holly could come over and suck it up and then we could throw it in the trash.

    I hope everyone is having a great weekend and losing or stabalizing!!!

    Depends wether you want your spouse to get hot-looking currently or not! *lol* Ideally, you want to stay at equivalent hotness levels right? Tee hee.

    Really sounds like you are stabilized karebear! Getting away with potatoes and a roll, AND a cookie too?! Fantastic! (Hubby is in there showing off right now, by eating half a chocolate bar! No fair!)

    Yes, let's chase that negative self out of there. I'll send Holly right over.

    Well......hmmmmm...........do i really want a hot-looking spouse.............Of course I do. He just has some health issues and need to be sure that this won't make them worse.

    I did it again tonight........I think my mind thinks I am on P4 already. But we went to Sam's Club and they were giving away samples of things. My hand just reached right out there and took them and put them right in my mouth. Then I ate some kettle corn. What in the world is wrong with me. Will this affect me stabalizing and my metabolism? I hope that some of the Vets will give their opinion here.

    I am going to be good for the final 3 days of P3. I don't want Holly to have to take my hand too!!
