I am really looking forward to oopsie bread and all that other stuff. One problem. ADHD. It is very difficult to bake when you are distracted by every shiny thing. I am a notorious bread burner. My poor family. Every grilled cheese is a burned cheese. My Great Grandmother used to scrape the burn off the bread. (Guess it's hereditary) Is there a bad baking gene? Can't do that to muffins, cakes and waffles. But Grammy...your mug cake is nuked. I don't think I can mess that up! yay!

Yes, to answer your questions. I did all p2 with no decimals. It was mucho caliente frustrating at times, but I was so far into it at the time that even if it was frustrating it was stupid to give up. I was loosing at a significantly higher rate than WW which I did before or from working out like a psycho this summer....which I only saw a 16 pound reduction from mid july to aug...which is a good rate for exercising. (I'm a fat musician(or rather "was")...I HATE to exercise!) Once I started to get a bit frustrated, I turned to this website which came in the info from Rebekahspureliving.com. You guys got me through. When I learned that what I was going through was normal, I could wait it out. YOU all are responsible for my success. So 27 pounds after, I thank you very very much. I might have given up if not for you all.

OK, thought I posted this but it isn't here. I just finished eating my first mug cake. I used coconut oil but I think 3 Tbls is too much. I will probably cut it down some if I make it again. It was really good but would have been better if I had the whipped cream to go with it. I just calculated the calories. Lordy, lordy.....Roughly 600--YIKES. I am going to have to see what the scale says tomorrow to decide about the safety of this comfort food. But, I did enjoy it! Also, I have made the oopsie rolls before when I was low carbing. They are really worth making.

I had that mug cake every day. :-) With whipped cream. I used almond flour. I'm going to try the coconut though.

I know Colleen. You are why I even tried it. If it was so good that you ate it everyday of P3 and had no problem, I knew I would have to try it. But, 600 calories. I maybe need to see how many calories using olive oil. Not sure if it would be the same or not. Did yours seem a little oily? I am guessing you used whipping cream and made your own? Did you add a sweetener to it if you did? But when I look at it, the only thing not low carb would be the milk. I guess if you used heavy cream and maybe water it would be completely low carb.

Man, I just have to reprogram my thinking. Something about heavy cream and "low carb" just do not compute in my puny brain. I know it is. I just can't wrap my thinking around that. I guess it's the word "heavy" in heavy cream that has me wigged out. I think I will try almonds tomorrow so I can eat it asap! I thought I heard or read somewhere that you can make whipped topping using my new friend evaporated milk! hmmm. More research necessary. Back in a minute.

Just went to Carnation website. They say to use the Evaporated milk in any recipe you would normally use half and half, light cream or heavy cream. So use Colleen's recipe for whipped cream and sub. If you are lactose intolerant....this could be a very very good thing, because the processing and heating of the milk may eliminate most or part of the intolerance. So, guess what I'm doing in 2 days?..cause I have to make sure I can tolerate almonds tomorrow first.

Wow, that is great! I hope you can use it with no trouble!

Well, it was hubbies birthday today. { He thinks the holiday is for him; )} Ice cream cake was served...but I refrained. But I did get to eat at Outback. Alice Springs chicken without the honey mustard. I was eating the yellow squash and carrots then couldn't remember if the were allowed or not in P3 (they are) so had to leave some of those. 1 glass of Blush wine. That was my fruit ; ) Salad with parm Z. Earlier I'd had a steak, and then 4 egg omelette. We shall see if the dairy and wine will make me whine tomorrow on the scale. I'll let you all know if this Southern Belle has become a bell shape in the morning.
