The only steak day I did on my last p3 was the day before my TOM came. Only I could not be sure it was that, so I did the steak day. My weight went right back to LIW the next day. Some people say if you are sure its TOM you can just eat high protein and it should come back down on it's own. But if there is a chance it is not TOM, you may want to do the steak day because Dr. S says that steak days are not nearly as effective if they are not done on the day you are over the 2# mark. I figured I would rather be safe than sorry, and I was very happy to see my LIW the next morning :)
avahlyn - on a steak day you don't eat all day until dinner then you eat as big a steak as you can stand with either a tomato or an apple. it helps you lose water weight and to get back down to LIW.
