Well, I am almost done with P3 (just in time for Thanksgiving-yay!) but I'm sooo jealous. I lost 16 lbs in a 27 day P2. My sister is on VLCD day 11 and she has lost 14 lbs!!! She even had 2 melba toasts with her meal once and she started TOM the day after she started the VLCD. sooo very unfair (but I'm happy for her). What do you think accounts for this. She is younger than me but not REALLY that much younger (I'm 40 and she's 37)..
does she have a lot more to lose? I have two friends doing this at the same time as me, both are heavier- both have lost more than me in the same amount of time by about 5 lbs so far.
well, maybe a 15 lbs more...We're both going to do another round together in Jan..that should be fun. I'm hosting thanksgiving.I told her I would grill up 100 gms of steak with sauteed onions for her, have some crispy dried apples at the ready and some yummy herbal tea ready..
I know apple chips require really thin cut apples and cinnamon. All you have to do afterward is lay them on a baking sheet for 1 1/2 hour or 2 hours until they're dry and crispy. I want to make some soooo bad, but I haven't the time or patience tonight.
um, I don't make them lol. But there is a healthfood store where I buy them in a bag. I have eaten them and so has my sister and it hasn't affected losses. They come in a bag called "Barefruit 100% Organic Bake-Dried Apple Chips". The only ingredients are organic apples. You can get granny smith, fuji or fuji with cinnamon. If you don't have a healthfood store that sells them I have resorted to buying crispy dried apples from the baby section of the grocery store. Gerber Graduates has them (diced, dried apples in a bag). I really like them. I'm even eating them on P3.
