It will be a week tomorrow that I have been on p4. I had my first glass of wine and a friends bday dessert! Gained of course and spent 2 days taking it off. Ate some almonds and spent 2 days taking that off. So my question is, as I add things back in and if I gain I need to take it off if 2 pounds above LIW, before adding anything else in, correct? So when you say have patience and go slow in P4 is it because we try something and might have to take it off before trying something else? I just want to make sure I am doing this right. I am worried I am not resetting in a timely manner. Is there a time in P4 that it takes to reset?

smiling- did you stabilize well in P3? if not, you need to do that before moving on to P4. first try adding back all fruits and veggies- even the starchy ones. then things like WW pasta, oatmeal, wild rice, etc- good starches. it's the sweets that will get you- i'd add sugar back last.

If you gained right away on the bday dessert, did it have wheat in it? You might have a sensitivity to gluten. Also evidently almonds are something not good for your body if you gained on them. I can't eat cashews for that reason. Try some other nuts and see how you do.
