Today is my first day of P3, I've had a scrambled egg, one sausage link with a tablespoon of guacamole and salsa. I also had 64 oz of water. I ate this at about 8am this morning, It is now almost 1pm and I am feeling very nauseous, is this normal? I feel like I should eat something but I don't want to upset my tummy any more. Any advice?
russ- you are not in the norm, from what I understand. : ) Satori, I keep warning people about the nausea/and or diahhrea and low appetite at the beginning of P3 because it happened to me and I feel I was not prepared. After I told people about it, they all said it was pretty common!
well that's good to know I will just continue to keep breathing until it passes....I was thinking that I did choose a lot of grease for my first p3 meal and in retrospect perhaps not the best idea. I think I will be sticking to grilled chicken.
satori - I felt extremely sick on my first day of P3 too, I found that when I ate again, try some fruit, I felt alot better. I was really scared to eat again because the feeling is terrible!
I had about 150g of chicken in the morning, and ate about 100g of roast beef later on. In the early afternoon I went to Wendy's and got two Double Stack burgers and ate them without the bun. Then I had an apple, and snacked on pork rinds that I dip in sour cream. I was drinking water along the way. Then I dropped by a health food store and picked up some things. I ate some unsalted mixed nuts - not a lot. I ate some more roast beef that I had brought with me. When I got home I had some brocolli and my stevia lemonade. Then I had some more pork rinds and sour cream. I think that's about the extent of it. It was a lot more fun than my typical P2 days.
satori - You really need to eat more protein today. It is not good to eat so little. Chicken is fine if that's what you like but you really do need to get your protein way up or you will have problems.
