A lot of that sugar free stuff is evil. You can only try it and see how you react. :-(

I agree with Colleen. That stuff if pretty nasty in coffee, makes me wanna barf when I've ordered it at Starbucks or McD's.

So Colleen is sugar free things ok IF you can tolerate them with no gain in P3?? I almost bought a small bag of SF candy the other day, but chickened out! I don't mind if it makes me "cut loose" need help in that dept anyway :/ but I am worried about a gain!!

The stuff that is packaged as sugar free seems to be the most evil. I think it's all the chemicals in it. The things we make at home with our own choices of sweetener don't seem to cause nearly the problems. I haven't had issue one with my mug cake. I'm going to try the haystacks too when I get a hankering for something sweeter. But most of the time a crisp apple with cinnamon fills that desire. That SF candy can really be wicked. At Margie's advice I even avoided buying some sugar free fudge up on Lake Michigan over Labor Day. It's just not worth the risk to me. :-(

    gogirl-

I have been able to have sugar free candies, but I also only eat 1 or 2 at a time, and only a few times per week. I like to use those when I go to the movies. I also make italian sodas made with perrier, cream, and davinci sugar free syrups. I have those all the time. Most the time when I have one of those at night I am always down in the morning. Strange.

I think the key is to have very small amounts at a time. You just have to see if your body will tolerate it.
