Yes - sorry, but I couldn't wait for an answer as I was craving something sweet - LOL. Anyway, it's baking right now. I diced some apples, but them in a baking dish. Mixed cinnamon and truvia. Sprinkled on apples, put a little water in the dish. and baking at 400 degrees. It's not finished cooking yet, but can someone post the "correct" recipe. Thanks
I peel, core, and slice an apple and put it in the bottom of a baking dish, then toss with cinnamon, nutmeg, apple pie spice, a tbsp of water, and juice of 1/2 of a lemon. I bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes if I want some apples that are soft, but still kind of crispy in the middle, and 20-30 for a really yummy applesauce, depends on how big of an apple you use. Not sure what the "correct" recipe is, but that's how I love my apples.
i just cut up my apple into thin slices, spread them on a plate, then sprinkle one pack of stevia on them with a ton of cinnamon. then i put that in the microwave for about 2'. if you rinse the slices in water first, the cinnamon sticks to them better.
i put a teaspoon of coconut oil in a bowl microwave it for 10 seconds add a diced (preferable green) apple and stir. sprinkle on ground clove, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and lots of erythritol (sugar substitute with a 0 glycemic index and tastes very close to sugar) and.. my secret LEMON JUICE! trust me! it MAKES the dish. i just microwave it for about 3:30 minutes stopping every minute to stir and make sure its cooking evenly. i like my apples soft if you don't you don't have to cook it as long.
