I did the 1000mcg patches and they didnt work. I think I need 3000 mcg a week (CFS). I am currently doing 1000 mg daily and love it.

Did my first B-12 shot this weekend. The needles they gave me (I got it from Fran) are twice as thick as my hcg insulin needles! So I went to the pharmacy and got more insulin needles, just larger capacity but with the same tiny needles. I don't really mind my shots, but I sure didn't want to make them a problem with a bigger needle...

Funny thing, kbj, is I PREFERRED the needles that came with the B12. Since I'm mixing my B12 with the hCG, that just gave me that many more syringes to use. I started out with the ones that came with the B12. Didn't notice they were a different gauge than the others. But, I DID prefer how much more "sturdy" they felt. The little ones for the hcg may be a slightly smaller needle, but they are flimsy, as a result. I find I have to be a LOT more careful with them than the others.
