    I used insulin needles, injected in the belly fat and did 15 units. My hcg was premixed with b12 for me but I guess it comes out to 250? Anyway that dose worked for me but everyone is different but you shouldn't need more than that I don't think.
    My job has me up at 5am and my boyfriend keeps me up until 10pm usually so I found myself hungry between lunch and dinner and right when I woke up. I use 4oz of a low carb no sugar protein shake in the morning and 2 hours later, then lunch, then another 4oz shake, then dinner, then another 4oz shake before bed. Never was hungry at first and towards the end didn't even need the shakes at all. It just helped at first. (The shakes has 40 calories each) so I was eating more than the 500 but I still lost average of .67 pounds a day during r1p2.
    If youre trying to follow protocol I would split up the meals into four, eat one two hours after waking, and then have your lunch and dinner as you usually would and I would eat the last one a little bit before bed.

    according to my insulin needle 15 units equals 125 iu which is where i started, i jumped to 200 one day after hearing it was optimal dose. Wow, 250, is that too much? I wander if i shouldve kept going up instead of going down again towards 125. im confused. Thanks for the insight on the meal timing.

    150 works for quite a few people though! Especially with the new liquid premixed and some other brands. Some are ore potent. Try the 150!

    Colleen maybe you can explain this, I read through a thread, not sure if it was this one or not and for some reason got the impression that 15 units on my insulin needle was 250? but if what Clar is saying is right, then 15 units is 125 iu, so i was taking 125iu of hcg mixed with b12.....

    We don't know what your dose is, Jenni. Not without knowing how it was mixed. Or unless your doctor told you. There are a ton of recipes for mixing up hcg so just the units on a needle tell you nothing. :-(

    Slim - that is great advice. I was having my fruits as snacks between meals and within 30 minutes of eating them I was soooo hungry...fruit has always done that to me. You know how they say to eat an apple before you go out to dinner? NOT ME!! Cuz then I'd really go crazy eating.

    So, I'm going to try four meals a day including my fruit, veggie, and protein.

    I'm having a problem with hunger at nite. Any suggestions? It's stopping me from falling asleep even though I'm drinking a nitetime tea.

    jama, I notice that same thing. when I eat fruit alone it makes me waaay hungry. i even tried eating apple with a protein for breakfast, thinking having it with the protein would be ok but I am feeling more hungry this morning than when I just have protein for breakfast. so I think I'm just avoiding fruit in the morning all together. (though I love having fruit smoothies for breakfast it just makes me hungrier)
    during p2 I would always have the fruit at the end of my lunch and end of my dinner only or mixed in with my meal and it always made me fuller but without the hunger later on.

    grammy, i took your advise yesterday and took the 150 and the hunger was better but when i went to bed i was starving. i also got hungry around meal times which i dont know if that is normal or not. but overall, it was better than at 175. do you think i should reduce again, maybe to 140? everytime i reduce i am seeing less of a loss on the scale as well. like this morning i only lost .4 and yesterday was .8. i hope that doesnt have anything to do with it. I am on vlcd10, and was suppose to start tom 3 days ago! what should i do?

    Grammy, it's not my dose. Fruit has always done that to me...REALLY annoying. Does it to my sister, too.

    Slim, I did that yesterday and it made a big difference. I had no hunger AT ALL last night...yay!
