h meg- don't do it! I did it. I still don't know why, it was over with so fast! But I was sooooo sick the rest of the day and the next from it. I believe now what I've been reading. This diet detoxes all that crap from our bodies, and then our bodies do not like it when we add it back. Mine is still rebelling- YUCK!
Next time, I'm doing protein powder. Was it good just mixed with coffee?
The powder was okay with the coffee, the one I have isn't flavored so I added stevia. No I'm not even tempted to actually eat a cheeseburger, but I know I'll be having a homemade cheeseburger in the very near future! Happy dance, tomorrow is my last day of P2
I wanted to post on my progress this last 5 days or so. I went onto phase 3 Thursday night, that meant Sunday night at 11:00pm I would be able to eat regular. That night we went to Costco, on the way out I picked up a giant can of macadamia nuts. I mean GIANT. I started eating a few on Thurs, night, then kept them in the car, they were gone by Saturday night!!! That was around I think 280 calories and 24 grams of fat per 1/4 cup,there were 24 servings in that can. That was almost 7000 calories, not to mention the cheese and avocados, this is all the my 72 hours. It's now Monday evening, haven't gained a bit. I can acually feel my body working, burning fuel, I can tell when I wake up hungry, It's just this feeling you get when you know your body is burning food well. Now if I would have eaten bread, esp bread with sugar, or starch, I wouldn't be writing this email. It's as if my body Loves fat, I think this protocol has taught me a lot about myself. When I go back into this I am going to focus on 3 weeks, like Colleen says anyone can do this for 23 days, I am just going to take this is small chunks again!
Elaine - I probably won't start until Thbursday or Friday since I won't be home until late Wednesday night. I'm going to see what the scale says Thursday morning! Remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas & I hope the alcohol weight from today stays in Vegas lol I'm sooooo dehydrated I've been downing water for about 2 hrs now lol but we did sooooooo much walking tonight I'm hoping it helps :)
And yes TEE I PRETTY MUCH BEHAVED TODAY JUST FOR YOU LOL had the buffet for lunch & tried to stick to just P3 friendly food as much as possible. Dinner went to the &arley Davidson Cafe had the all you can eat beef ribs but didn't tpuch the coleslaw or fries :) just the salad & ribs & oh the ribs were good ;) then I had a nice BIG drink while we walked around but I think I burned it all off lol Now I'm so ready for bed! More walking tomorrow!
My last day of P2!!! Yay, was down 6 ounces this morning, I upped my protein yesterday and it helped a ton. Most likely will up it again a bit tday since my last injection was less then half of normal dose. Happy losing every one
I thought I would report in on my first cleanse day yesterday I had 4 - 4 oz serving of the cleanse drink through out the day 8 isa snacks to keep blood sugars level 2 apple 2 isadelight chocolates yummo they have the same amount of sugar as 1/8 of an apple 3 3 pump sprays of isamune lots of tea and water

no hunger which is what I was worried about yesterday and none this morning either will do my second cleanse day today and start the shakes tomorrow
Has anyone one tried the ready to go shakes from Atkins? They have a mocha latte one that I thought would be easy to grab from the fridge and add to my coffee-they are obviously low-carb because they are atkins brand, but it seems most of you use the powder form. Always going for the most convienent :)
