    I am on Day 59 of the hcg diet. I have lost a total of 33 lbs and 2 sizes. I am 5'9 and 155 lbs now. I have slowed my weight loss to about 3 lbs. per week over the last 2 or 3 weeks. I have cheated several times during the course of these two months. I am really happy with the results and I really would like to get to between 140-145 lbs. I am scared to death to go into phase 3 because I am afraid of putting weight back on and then I will have done all this for nothing. Has anyone every stayed on the sublingual longer than the 50 day protocol with any good results. I would like to just continue on until I lose another 10-15 lbs. while I am in the right frame of mind. I would like to use weight watchers to maintain when I am done, I guess I am just scared of the unknown! How difficult is it to maintain when off the diet? Thank you for any unfo!

    i was only on the diet for 3 weeks, but have had no trouble at all keeping the weight off, as long as i don't eat any carbs.

    59 days? not worried about immunity? usually the max is 40 days before they want you to take 6 wks off.

    I am worried about immunity> I am still not horribly hungry so it must still be working, right? I often don't eat until the evenings. No carbs, huh? That is what I want back the most! I guess it is all about moderation, which the absence of such is what got me fat in the first place!

    yeah, it's a drag- but you can't eat any carbs for the first 3 weeks that you are off the hcg.

    You can eat some carbs during the first 3 weeks or we wouldn't be allowed to eat veggies. It's starches and sugars that we have to avoid during P3. I get those mixed up too sometimes. All starches are carbs, but not all carbs are starches.
