ok, i know my "head" should not be distressed at this, but i gained FOUR LBS in 2 days with my fat-loading! since i didn't gain hardly anything the first time around this is a bit distressing to me, although i ate a lot more this time because i thought i didn't do enough the first time. did you guys gain that much? how long did it take to lose?
also, do you guys figure your weight loss from the first day of the shots, or from your first injection? i always figure the "net" loss, because it didn't seem accurate to add in the pounds you lose from fat-loading.
LOL I didn't want to know how much I gained so the first day I weighed myself was my first VLCD. I'm sure it will come off quickly!! The morning of my 2nd VLCD I lost 3.8#. I ate TONS of FAT!!!
I did. Except I was miserable after loading because I wasn't used to eating that crap. I know I won't go back to that stuff when I'm done. I've lost 13 pounds in 17 days and I'm not sure on my inches yet, as I don't want to measure until I'm done because of the shifting that goes on. I'll measure when I'm done.
it's interesting that while i was pretty excited about doing the fat-loading, i really didn't enjoy it once i started. that's a GOOD thing. i was glad to get back to my apple today!
I am finishing my 2nd load day today - UCK - I am also glad to get back to the 500 calories - never thought I would say that. I too skip the scale for the load days so that I don't freak myself out!:)
thankfully i think i've lost about a pound already. but i had a long meeting this afternoon, got distracted and didn't drink enough water. i got just a bit nauseous tonight, but if it doesn't get any worse than this i can handle it. i really want to make it longer than i did last time. i have company coming may 28th, so i'd like to make it until the 24th. that way i can be on phase 3 by the time they come.
I usually gain about 5 lbs. during Loading. Dr. S says to weigh the morning of your first VLCD and write that down as your starting weight. I have always taken off my loading weight in 1-2 days. Glad to hear you are still not as nauseous this round...hope it stays that way, Margie.
