I've found quite a few bread recipes that are made with almond flour. Most of them call for a sugar substitute though, which I really don't like. I found this recipe, and it all looks P3 safe (and it sounds really good), but I was hoping someone could tell me if there are any red flags. And when it comes to P3 safe bread, does that mean I can eat as much as I want? Is it carb-free?

    Garden Herb Bread

    2 ½ C Almond Flour
    1 T Baking Powder
    ½ tsp Baking Soda
    ½ tsp Salt
    ½ tsp Minced Garlic
    1 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
    1 tsp Basil
    ½ tsp Oregano
    ½ tsp Paprika
    ½ tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
    3 T Canola Oil
    3 Whole Eggs
    ¼ C Water

Combine ingredients in large bowl and mix until blended. Lightly grease loaf pan. (Either 2 small loaves, or 1 large loaf) Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Best kept in freezer for longest shelf life.

It all looks okay to me! Sounds yummy, too! I will have to try this one! Thanks! Not sure about the eat all you want part, however. But, I'm no expert, so I don't know for sure. Maybe someone else will have something else to say.

Looks good but I have to say Almond flour is quite expensive. I keep seeing it online in 10 oz. sacks, which means one bag won't do for this recipe (ack $20 for 2 bags!). Where are you all getting your almond flour?

I make my own. Just grind almonds in a spice grinder.

trader joes had a bag for 3.99, though they aren't terribly large.

I am pretty rogue when it comes to small amounts of baking powder, or using tapioca starch or whatever... as long as it's in a small quantity. I can't remember though, one of the two is "supposedly" not P3 friendly either baking powder or soda - not sure which and don't know why....but I did read it. I think Grammy knows.....

I made a bread with all hazelnut/almond flour and flax.... it used xanthum gum and tapioca starch though. It was a flat bread and very tasty!! I had no issues with the ingredients, but I can't recommend them for everyone.
