I just got done watching some youtube videos on how to mix up the HCG. I am using a 5000 IU ampule. Half of the videos were using 5cc's of bac. water and the other half were using 10cc of bac. water to mix with the HCG. I plan on going on the 23 day cycle. Does anyone know what the right amount of bac. water to mix 5000 IUs is??
The easiest way to do it would be to mix with 10 ml of bac water. Easiest because it's the best way to fine-tune your dose once you start on the diet.
With with 10 ml of bac water, and then decide what you want to start with for a dose:
125 IUs = .25 ml (25 on an insulin needle) 150 IUs = .30 ml (30 on an insulin needle) 175 IUs = .35 ml (35 on an insulin needle) 200 IUs = .40 ml (40 on an insulin needle)
If you only use 5 ml of bac water you'll inject less - half what is shown above, and as you can see, that would get you into some weird amounts.
Welcome FatNoMore! I even used 15 cc water for my 5000 IU - and injecting 0.6 ml for 200 IU per day. I rather take some more water cause people using very low water sometimes had a little pain with the injection and on the other side: If I miss 1/2 drop out of 15 cc it is much less then out of 5 cc.. So I can dose easier.
15 cc .... 5000 IU 1 cc ..... 5000/15 = 333.33 IU 0.5 ...... 166.66 IU does that help you? How much do you want to inject? Do you want to do subq or IM shots?
I had my 5000 ampule mixed with 10cc's of bac. water. I pull my insulin needle back to 25 and inject that amount. Does that sound correct? There is an awful lot of information on this site and it all gets a little confusing after awhile. Thanks for the help.
Are you injecting into the muscle (with a loooong needle)? Or are you injecting just under the skin (short needle - usually an insulin needle)? Into the muscle is called IM (intramuscular) and into the skin is called SQ (subcutaneous). If into the muscle, the dose you're using is a good starting point. If under the skin, it's a little lower than what most people are comfortable with.
SQ is usually done around 175 to 200 IUs per injection. The hormone doesn't diffuse as much when it's injected into the skin as it does when it's injected into the muscle, so a little more is used. 125 to 150 is usually good for IM, although it's allowed for both to go up to 200 IUs.
oh man I need help! I got my HCG today and I mixed 2000 iu with 4ml water and filled up 23 syringes with 1.5 ccs of finished product, can anyone tell me what dose I just mixed myself?!
stella, your figures must be wrong. If you mixed 1 vial of 2000 IU with 4 ml of bac water and dosed your syringes with 1.5 cc's (ml's) then you would only have enough to fill less than 3 syringes not 23.
I agree with Mikkydee! There is no way that filling to 1.5cc (where did you find an insulin needle that big?) would give you 23 needles, unless you mixed a ton of vials. If you mean you filled to the .15 or 15 line then you would be dosing at 115iu.
Here are some great directions to follow!
i was about to say I wondered if her dose was too high. But she IS taking 200 iu according to the instructions I follow of yours, Scott:
* 1,000iu vial - Add 2 ml bac water * 1,500iu vial - Add 3 ml bac water * 2,000iu vial - Add 4 ml bac water * 5,000iu vial - Add 10 ml bac water *10,000iu vial - Add 20 ml bac water
And here is the amount you would draw for your daily dose. It is the same no matter what size vial you started with.
