Sorry TLM, I wasn't referring to you. That was a good question. It's just when some people comment, they just seem to be unhappy and it comes accross as being almost rude. Like it's their way or no way. No question is a bad question :0)
I have had strawberries and have had no stalls or gains, In fact the other day I had 3 large strawberries before bed and was down 2# the next morning. I have also had oranges and grapefruit, I think the oranges may slow me but not really a stall.
As Italy is not really far away: 50 years ago there were about 4 weeks in a year where you were able to get strawberries! So I think it did not really make sense to put them in the original protocoll. I remember that in these days we often had troubles to get fresh veggies in wintertime. No freezer then too - my mother used to preserve green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, all kind of fruits,... Isn“t that nice what we have noadays?? Birgit
I could eat strawberries, but not oranges. I don't think testing those waters would send you into an uncontrollable gain or stall. It is such a limiting protocol anyway, the more choices, the greater our chances of success. I say go for it.
I've been on the diet for about 9 days and have had a handful of strawberries a few times. I've lost 6 pounds so far, so I'm assuming I'm doing it right. I bought a bag of the frozen kind, with no added sugar. 70 cals per one and-a-quarter cup.
Can someone tell me where I can find Pounds And Inches? I don't want to have to buy any recipe books (I'm broke enough as it is), but am feeling lost about what (specifically) is okay to eat and what isn't. I'd appreciate any pointers, as I'm still new to this! :)
