angelica- what method are you using for the hcg, and how much are you taking?

20# over 33 days is still quite good. women tend to average .5 to .75 per day over the length of the protocol. if you lost 20# in the first 20 days of this round, that was HUGE, and your body is probably just re-adjusting. are you still losing inches? i am 54 and have some health problems, but i average a little less than a half pound/day.

if you lost a pound a day during R1, that is above the norm for women. you might have also lost more in the beginning of R1because when you first cut out carbs you lose a ton of water weight. don't give up!

Angelica, I totally feel your frustration. I can't stand it when I go 3 days or a week without losing and esp when you aren't eating anything (hardly) so I can only imagine 13 days. Don't give up. Are you close to your goal weight? Sometimes when you are really close it goes really slow dropping those last pounds. And are you taking shots or sublingual? How much? If you are doing shots how much and where do you take the injections. And do you mix your own hcg? Women actually tend to lose .5 to .75 lb per day so it may not be as much as the first time or as fast but 20 lbs in 33 days is still on the high side of the range. Also have you tested your hcg to see if it is still potent? It has a shelf life of 20-30 days. My husband and I were stalled for about a week and then we got new hcg and started dropping again. I don't know if any of this helps but hang in there. I'm pulling for you! You will make your goal. I have also read in Dr S protocol where a prolonged stall sometimes occurs if you reach a weight that you may have been stuck at for several years and you hit a plateau at that weight that can last weeks but will eventually kick over and start dropping again.

I hear your frustration, Angelica. I went up a pound today and was very upset. It feels like with such a low calorie diet we should lose like crazy!!! To be deprived all day and then gain - ugh. I agree with the others though, you just can't give up. You have come so far and you know you can do it. The thing that keeps me going is knowing that I really don't have a choice - right - we need to lose weight and we are on this diet - so we have to continue to forge on. Trust me, I know it's hard because my stomach growls and growls. I'm am pulling for you and wish you the very best!!!!!!
