    I suggest a gimmlet. 1 shot vodka, 1/2 shot lime juice and the rest water... very good! I have one a week and have still lost 1 lb a day!

    Since I started P3 I have had a glass of wine (or two) and while in Vegas for a week (first week of P4), I drank beer, wine and rum and diet cokes and did not go above my LIW. Alcohol does not seem to be an issue for me..

    FYI: Diet tonic water is made with sacharin. I have had this while socializing with a wedge of lime or lemon. Most of the time very satisfying

    Hi there, this sight is great and everyone has such great insight! I am a total newbie, am nearing the end of P2, next week starts P3 and will be headed to Vegas first week of July which puts me at 2 weeks into P3. I too am anxious to have a drink while there but am nervous! I've been looking at labels and such, seems the Michelob Ultra looks ok, what about Gin and Tonic anyone? I normally drink margaritas or cranberry/vodka but think those are both no-nos. I am also afraid of the endless buffets while there. My hubby is also in P2, once back from Vegas he will go on to finish 40 inj so he is nervous as well. Any ideas?

    I went to Vegas on my first day of P4 and I did not gain. I did bring my fold-a-weigh scale and that was a god send. I knew exactly where my weight was adn did not go above. I had big breakfasts of eggs, bacon, sausage omelettes etc and just had fruit on the side rather than the hash browns and toast. It was really filling and did nto need much before dinner when I had fish, steak etc adn veggies. I did not do any margaritas etc but did have beer, rum and diet coke and wine. I did really well and did not feel that I did not enjoy or was deprived. You can do it and I strongly encourage to bring that scale. If you need to do a steak or protein day, do it right away and not when you get home as Dr. S says to deal with 2 pound gains asap.
