Oh believe me I hear you! Some people seem to blossom with their skin during the diet. I wish I was one of them. i've always, my entire life, have had dry skin but never the alligator skin I have right now. It does get better during P3 when we can add some fats and oils. I slathered on the coconut oil when on P3. My skin would litterally soak it up like a sponge!
Here's the ingredients for the Curel. Ingredients Water, Glycerin, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Acacia Senegal Gum, Dimethicone, Fragrance, Sodium Chloride, Gelatin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
I have dry skin normally, on day 8VLC of R1, and use my normal strategy of only using soap on my face, under my arms and in my crotch. The rest just gets hot water and it's worked well for me this diet. Perhaps you could try not getting any soap on your skin.
O.K. I got the ingredients that include shea butter, though, right off this page: http://www.amazon.com/Curel-Continuous-Moisturizing-Original-Dispensers/dp/B001ET7IZG
Yeah, they have two of them. That's why I tried to describe the bottle. I was a little confused when I went to Target and they had two of them. I looked at the one you wrote and thought, this has shea butter I can't use this!. I thought i was losing it LOL I saw the bottle next to it and it had the one I quoted above. It sort of is misleading don't you think?
Thanks you guys!...I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one walking around looking like a dried raisen...My skin feels awful! I did go and get the curel lotion that you suggested Jenni, and it has helped some....I'm glad to know that it will get better!....Guess I'll just have to put up with Itcy, rashy, rough, dry skin till i get to P3
The key is the "Fragrance Free" ! I did the same thing - bought the wrong one, and had to go back to the store. Remember "Fragrance Free" Curel Continuous Comfort!!
I have had a raised rash with both my rounds. Both went away in P3/P4.
I appreciate you letting me know this....I thought at first i was having an alergic reaction to the HCG and would have to stop!....Have you ever heard of anyone being alergic to HCG?...Just curious...I was going to keep going even if i was!
