Happy Friday everyone! Congrats with everyone doing such a great job!

I am feeling better today with dealing with temptation. I have been talking to my niece and a friend about the diet and what it consists of and they are all sold! I know I am doing great and tomorrow is going to be a big test. Thank goodness for my "diet buddy". We have a retreat with our religous group and they are providing "lots of goodies and lunch"-ugh-but me and my diet buddy have our plan and permission to leave durring lunch YEAY!

She is my inspiration-She has gone from a 24W to a 9 in a year and a half!

Anywho, I hope everyone has a great day!

ZJ, thanks for reminding me. Do you know why they ask you to mix it up?

I'm loving tilapia these days (bought 3 gigantic bags of filets from Costco) and I don't mind eating it all. I don't like the taste of chicken when I cook it myself, so I guess my other alternative is beef or shrimp.

I have been reading the blog below and this lady (who is a total inspiration) has lost 50+ lbs on hcg. She photographs her food daily and as far I can tell she has only being having tilapia and sashimi (raw sushi fish) the entire time. So I suppose it's not all that bad.

    Thanks redsun :-)

I have only water and one cup of cold unsweetened iced tea for breakfast sweetened with stevia

Lunch usually consists of either chicken or steak seasoned and done on the george foreman grill.
Sometimes I just eat it over lettuce with the HCG approved salad dressing I bought from diyhcg.com or i'll have a cucumber done in white vinegar with some water and stevia (YUMMY). Oh and yesterday I cut some white onion up and did that with the steak on the grill as my veggie.

I usually eat one of my fruits around 3pm...and I've only had strawberries and apples...afraid to try oranges as I see they stall some people.

Dinner usually consists of the other protein I didn't eat, chicken or steak. I pretty much have grilled everything since I started. If I didn't eat the lettuce for lunch, i'll do that for dinner. The only veggies I have tried are onion, asparagus, lettuce, and cucumber. Once again, afraid to stray since these worked so well.

I'll eat my fruit about an hour later. I have done the baked apple recipe...which if you didn't try it...you should!!

My meals are quite boring lol...but for some reason I am enjoying them so far. Also I have not eaten the melba toast or grissini bread sticks at all. I could not find them until day 3 and was afraid to add them in. I have seen some good recipes with crushing up the melba toasts...so I may try them out.

    Hope this helps...and good luck!!

Thanks for sharing Disp29. Looks like both you and ZJ are eating different proteins/ veggies for lunch/ dinner. I must try that.

I have been using the George Foreman daily since I started. I work a lot, so last weekend I grilled a whole bunch of tilapia and ate it Monday through Thursday. I lost less weight today so I may shake it up a bit.

I'm working from home today so I actually don't have to eat my packed lunch.
