So, I gave myself my injection this morning and it bled a little and then left a lump. Anyone ever have this?? This is my 3rd round and this has never happened before. It was a SQ shot of .33cc's. TIA!!

Hi!! You probably hit a small vessel...and you have a hematoma....you'll probably get a small bruise too. It's harmless, it happens to all of us. When you see blood after an injection, apply pressure, this will minimize the lump. :))

You are welcome!! It will be fine. If the lump gets bigger, put some pressure on it. If it doesn't go away in 24 hrs, then we need to revisit it...but my guess is its a hematoma. Been there done that, got that bruise :)))

What if the lump hurts?I inject in my tummy, right at my waistline. I nicked a capillary yesterday and the lump only showed up today. Unless I hit something today and it just didn't bleed out on the surface.

This could be cause by pushing the hcg too fast. By "pushing" I mean injecting. Try slowing down your rate of injection some if it happens again.
