My husband and i eat out normally on the weekends, and i was wondering if any of you have eaten out on the 500 calorie diet and have not cheated. is this even possible or worth it? All comments would be appreciated.
I eat out each week with hubby. I usually order salad with chicken cooked "dry" I'm very specific. Most restaurants will do this for you. I ask for my salad without cheese and croutons and anything else they put on it on the side (i.e. onions, tomatoes etc.) I slice the chicken up myself and put it in my salad and add a bunch of pepper and some salt. I've never had a stall from this.
Another thing you can do is ask for your meat cooked "dry" (no oils etc) and your vege unseasoned. I usually have them slice a tomato on the side with my meat.
You just have to be specific about what you want :) Just make sure to tell them you want your meat cooked dry with NO seasoning. They will honor it. :) Also, unless your hubby can't stand not having them, tell them not to bring you any rolls or bread to the table.
I always ask for water with lemon. I add a little sweetner to the water and squeeze the lemon and it's quite tasty. You can also take the lemon and squeeze it on your chicken or fish to add flaver.
I pretty much do the same thing as Lady Smart. I remember my first round and how hard I thought this was going to be. I learned real quick I was not going to stop being with my family and friends, I had to learn to control for me. I have yet to come across a resturant to ever not be able to fulfill my wants and needs while in P2 or P3.
