    What are your guys' experiences with eating out in P3. I want to avoid it like the plague, but if I cant, I need to know what to expect. And if you have eaten out, what did you order? And how did your body respond?

    it is easy to eat out on P3. No added sugars/starches. Have a steak with veggies and a big salad with blue cheese! Once on P3 you can eat anywhere they serve "REAL FOOD" that leaves out the fast food places, but pretty much any diner should be able to give you a meal with Protein, veggies and a salad. Just skip the breading and the gravy! Use real butter/oils/good fats like nuts, avocado, etc to suppliment your calories. Do not add back more than one food at a time, ie..nuts, dairy, trigger foods...enjoy!

    I would be mortified.... one of my fave pizza joints adds sugar on the tomatoe sauce - so not clue as to what other places/restaurants put in their foods.... Im eating home on P3 - my BF is saving SO MUCH MONEY! And boy do I dislike steak - cheeseburgers are cool though.

    I am in round 2 phase 2 still but in round 1 phase 3 i ate them and did not gain in fact i lost a couple more pnds in phase 3 of round 1 i am looking forward to phase 3 again though just so i can have one there is nothing like the so calif in and out but las vegas in & out is better then nothing u know what i mean ... i use my own dressing organic mustard the only thing i get from them is the burgers with cheese lettace tomato and grilled onions so no added surprised i love it...

    cream cheese, cheese, peanut butter, avocadoes... easy! I don't worry so much about calories. I can tell you I have probably not been eating 2000 calories in either of my P3s. I don't think I have ever been able to eat that much. how I got so fat, I will never know! :)

    I am on day 3 of P3 and am having a hard time getting enough calories. Protein is so filling! I'm stuffed right now and am still only at 800 calories. Will this get easier? I don't want to eat too few calories and then start gaining in P4 because my body only wants 900 calories a day! But I can't force foods either...it was bad enough on the loading days.

    What is mug cake?> I just started the maintenance phase and I too am having a hard time getting my calories. This discussion has really helped! What about popcorn? What has your weight done on P3?

    I think popcorn is a starch, so it's a no-no. mug cake is good in a pinch for extra calories, and it can be made with flax meal, there are many variations. and recipes if you search. the only thing I don't like about eating in, is it's hard to have date night, but I don't want my husband to save money, he needs to take me out, so the good thing about P3 and this protocol is that we can go out, and it is more about the atmosphere and socializing than just gobbling up the food, we went out and had kabobs with greek salad, and it was awesome, out on the patio with the moonlight on the ocean, music in the background. I was down a lb. the next morning. usually the better restaurants will pay attention to your request for no sugar or starch. they sent back the salad and brought it back with no carrots per my request.
