Hi there - new here and just ordered my hcg last night. I went to Whole Foods to buy a couple products that were recommended from the Jason's line (face wash). Does anyone know if the entire Jason's line is green lighted? I have found it very hard to try and find a list of ingredients that are banned from personal care products......
I'd really like to know this as well. I found Jason products in the town I live in, but not all of the approved ones in the hcgdietjourney.com store were at the store here in town. Does anyone know?
To be honest I went back to my original products. I tried the shampoo/conditioner and it dried my hair out so much I looked like a broom. I decided it was worth slowing down my weight loss (which didn't happen) to stick with my own products.
I don't use any lotions though, because I couldn't find one that worked so it just wasn't worth spending the money. I did stall using lotions, but I use coconut oil for my body lotion so that could be why :)
If you do a search for products on the forum you'll find all sorts of suggestions. Jenni
I use only the Tea Tree Melaleuca (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion...) out of the Jason products. I read the ingredients in this are fine for this diet but not all "flavors" in this line are "alright" to use. My sister-in-law uses all of the same products she used when she wasn't doing the diet and lost the weight she wanted to shed. I choose to only use "diet approved" anything because I want to lose as much as I possibly can and I have way more to lose than she did. Although the hair products do make my hair feel like a broom like LS said, right now I just don't care. I guess it depends on your wants.
I used diet approved products when I first started but couldnt stand the way they dried my hair/skin out so i went back to my old stuff and I didnt see a difference in my weight loss either.
I went back to my regular shampoo and conditioner for the same reasons. I had fly-away, dry straw hair by using the approved shampoo/conditioner. I use oil of olay face lotion (oil free) and don't use any body lotion during P2. I actually use styling lotion and an anti-frizz oil on my hair--without problem. I wash my hands throroughly and only use oil on the ends of my hair, not near my scalp.
