So I completed my first VLCD yesterday, I was okay until around 5:00pm, then I swear I ended up with the headache from hell. I was dizzy, headace and tired...I think my body was having withdrawls from all the sugar that I have been eating over the weeks and then all of a sudden NO SUGAR...argh. I was hungry too. I thought the HCG was supposed to help with the hunger? Did anybody feel like this the first day? I was almost ready to give up..lol.
I have a headace again right now. I am drinking lots of water, I just hope the hunger pangs stay away here. I am on the homeopathic HCG maybe it is not good or as strong.
No it has nothing to do with your drops, hon. This happens even on RX hcg. :-( I had it my first round. Never in any other rounds though. It might be detox. Colleen
My first round was like this for the first few days, so much so that I got online and started researching even more because I thought something was terribley wrong (that's how I found this forum) It will get better just hang in there.
Unfortunately, my headache lasted for about 5 days (probably had to detox like hell:) It will go away and it is tough but stick it out so you don't have to start over and get the headache back. Sorry and hope you feel better soon
aww..thanks guys you are the best, I was starting to question if I got jipped with my drops here...i have heard stories about the homeopathic not being the same strength as the RX.
Jenny, don't fret. I had heachaches and "withdrawals" my first few days too. This happened with the drops and then I did injections the second time and it happened with them too. To be honest with you, I have been more pleased with the drops. So, for this 3rd round, I'm back on the drops. They work just fine. I lost the same amount of weight with both the drops and the injections. I seemed to stablize better with the drops. Not sure why. You can get through this. If you don't have any health issues that would make this a bad idea, try an aspirin. The extra water is a good idea too. Yerba Mate tea seemed to help me too with the "detox". You can do it! If you need help or encouragement, you know we're all here for you.
