My dr said not to exercise, but I would like to go on at least a 2.5 mile walk. I was walking 4 miles 3x a week prior to starting HCG. I was wondering if anyone else out there is exercising and a) feeling ok doing it and b) losing more because of it. I was actually curious as to how exercise affects the HCG program.

Hi,
I’m not used to not working out either. I tried this diet before and not exercising made it difficult for me to stay on it. I use exercise as a distractor. So this time, Im on day 3 of VLCD-I have reduced the intensity of excercises I do. But I walked 2 m on the beach, 15 mi on the eliptical, stretches, and low arm weights..I lost 3.2lbs this am–Im still stunned. I was very hungry by 7pm-
Good luck
I want to exercise as well on HCG because I don’t just want to be thin, I want to be fit and have stamina as well.
I am exercising. Not strenously but about 30 mins on stationary bike or treadmill and swim everyday for about an hour or two (I have water weights) and use that time to do my leg exercises.
I am averaging about 1-2lbs weight loss a day with this morning being my .6 of a pound day (upset)! I am on VLCD4.
I am on the VLCDP2 for 15 days now and have only lost 11.75 pounds. I am doing everything by the book and can’t help feel frustrated with the .2, .1, .4 loss days. Also, I am hungry all the time even when I take the “Weight Off” drops. I don’t understand why I would go through that with an appetite suppresent. I have been very strong and have not given in to my hunger. Just frustrated that I feel this way all the time.
I am in the army and am on day phase2 day 2 and down 3.2 pounds. Being in the army I am still required to do physical fitness training. Today we ran for over 30 minutes and I had plenty of energy. That might also be because it is soo early into the diet. I would listen to your body when it comes to excercising, if you start feelign dehydrated or faint stop and take a break. But I don’t see why it could be bad to work out on this diet. It will burn even more calories and get you ready for a healthier lifestyle afterwards. Good luck to everyone
I am not regularly excersizing, but have a moderately active lifestyle. i am day 10 of p2 and i swam 4 laps today and was so exhausted. I came home and took a nap. Is this just me or anyone else? Trying to figure out where i went wrong today. I have lost 9 lbs so far.
