Hello everyone!!
First off, WOW!! There is so much information on this site, and so many helpful people, I have been glued to my daughter's laptop for days!! She's getting really upset with me!! :P
I'm a 40yo stay at home mom. I have three kiddos, two girls and one boy, the last one being ten...so no more blaming the "baby fat." Time to get off the pot!!
I started with HHCG yesterday, and I ate VERY well. Honestly, though, I didn't think it would be *that* difficult to make myself eat! I tried to stay away from an abundance of sugar, but did include a slice of cheesecake and a blended mocha, along with my regular half creamer/half coffee...hahahah. I ate lots of fatty foods, but at the end of the night, i had to flood myself with water because I felt like crap!! I'm up 1.5 this morning. Today is load day #2, and I'm on the same track.
A few of my stats:
Age: 40
Female
Height: 5'4"
Starting weight: 191 (pre load)
I'm hoping to get to 150, or size 8...whichever comes first. I'm more worried about the size than the weight, you know? I just want to be able to wear comfy (and cute!) clothes.
I do have one challenge coming up next Friday: We are heading to Vegas to meet my husband's family for dinner, at a Mexican restaurant. I am not telling anyone right now (even hubby!) about what I'm doing. Only two of my friends know because they are doing it too. My concern is how I'm going to "eat" while we're there, with the whole family. I'm thinking about a plain salad with just some s&p, and then bringing a sliced apple in my purse. Are there any suggestions of anything I can eat at a Mexican restaurant? I thought of steak/carne asada, but I'm sure there is stuff on there that is not on protocol. I would love any suggestions or experiences! I am not interested in cheating, not even once, so anything clean would be greatly appreciated!!
I'm really trying to change my inner-self along with my outer-self this time around. I always set myself up for failure by thinking about how I can cheat, or thinking that if I cheat, I can just jump right back on (which I can, of course). But this time I want to go into it full force, positivity up high, and succeed. I'm trying to use the motto "Eat to live, not live to eat." :)
I look forward to reading and learning more on these on the hCG diet forums!! Thanks for reading!
