I have been reading in this forum for a couple of weeks now and it has been very helpful. I am on R1 P2 VlCD16 and have lost 13 lbs. I have a question about homeopathic vs. the "real hcg" drops. Should I switch from homeopathic? I have been reading all over the place that these drops don't work and are simply a placebo. Can anyone help? I am ready to buy drops from Celeste. My fear is that I am losing mostly muscle and not fat and that I will gain it all back as soon as I start eating normally again. I'm very confused on what to do.

You will lose weight on the homeopathic hCG but you are not losing the “good” fat. If you test your urine in the morning with a ketosis stick you will most likely see Neutral. The homeopathic blends typically have other amino acids added that seem to help curb your appetite. Since you are not really taking hCG you could get some real hCG and just continue with the diet from that point on and not have to start over with load up and such. Hi I had questions regarding HCG from http://shop.besthcgstore.com/ . IS it safe. I noticed they said they use real human HCG and i’m thinking ummm is that safe? What about diseases? I mean it comes from a pregnant woman’s urine. I’m not trying to sound ignorant or mean. I do want to switch from the homeopathic to the real thing but I am scarred to death of it. I want to loose weight but I dont want to put myself in danger to do it. Any help you can give I would greatly appreciate.
Oh, also, you should opt to purchase the alcohol-free based real hCG. All that I have researched shows that using alcohol actually breaks down the hCG too quickly or destroys it completely well before you can use it all.

I disagree with Diane! I got Body Solutions Rx’s Homeopathic HCG spray and it is great! I lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks and 50 inches. I did not lose muscle and I felt great on the protocol. I followed Dr. Simeon’s diet plan and I am now on phase 3. I did my research too and found that the homeopathic remedies are only as good as the chemist who makes them. I love my HCG spray.
I have read that the HHCG does contain HCG and the part about the alcohol is not true. I was on several pharmacies last night that sell HCG in the powder form and they suggest mixing with high grade Vodka. I read this in more than one pharmacy. I have also asked many people using the HHCG drops and all of them have gotten the same results as those on the HCG. Why spend all that money if you are going to get the same results? I have heard from so many on the HHCG or who know others that have had great success. I read it contains HCG but is mixed homeopathically. It is a personal decision that one must make. I have been reviewing many homeopathc usages of hCG lately and as long as it is good hhcg from a reputable place then it is working correctly, however, when I personally did hhcg I was never in ketosis and checking ketosis is strictly a personal choice, but when in ketosis I could feel the difference in the fat burning.
Also, I still feel that alcohol degrades the hCG too quickly. It loses it’s potency quickly once mixed and I feel adding alcohol would not be beneficial. In hhcg they do mix with alcohol quite frequently but it is based on a completely different formula.

Yikes–I’m feeling overwhelmed by information at this point. Hcg is so trendy & huge that it’s hard to get info w/o bumping into all of the ads. I bought Celeste’s NON Homepathic HCG in the 2oz bottle & it came in just a few days. I was so excited to start & I didn’t do much loading, but I’m partway through my 1st day of the VLCD & feeling good. I bought a pregnancy test to double check the product & it was negative (I put the drops right on the stick.) VERY disappointed. I have friends who are doing HCG & have great results. I am skeptical, but I was giving it a good go & I want to continue, but if this $60 bottle of ??? is fake, I certainly want a refund and an explanation & there was no e-mail on their site & a machine on the phone—feeling stupid & scammed. I read good things about them even though the site was a bit scammy looking. Does anyone have experience with Celeste?
