Need Help With HCG DIET After Vacation Disaster!!! Gained 10 Lbs… What to Do!!
Hello…
I am in need of some desperate advice. I ended my 23 days of phase 2 on Wednesday. I began my phase 3. I went on a little vacation over the weekend surrounded by the mixed drinks and food that I so dearely have missed. I wasn’t bad as far as food choices but I DRANK!!!
I am up ten freaking pounds. I know it will be a little less in the morn with an empty stomach but I need a DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN !!!!! Please help me!!!
Should I go into a good phase 3 and behave myself??? Perhaps do a steak day or two??? LOL
should I go back into phase 2 and try and get some of it back off??? I have a little bit of HCG supplies left and could hurry and get some more.
I have no idea…. But I did not think I would screw up this bad after a much needed weekend at the beach!!!!!
Don’t sweat it too much. In all actuality, chances are, what you gained was merely water weight since alcohol makes you retain water (it’s one of the worst water retention culprits.) It also causes bloating- fun stuff huh? Don’t stress about it. Get back on track and while you’re preparing for your next round, look for the lessons. The next time you are on vacation, what is your plan? Here are a few tips:
-
Drink multiple glasses of water per glass of alcohol. In fact, never have a glass of alcohol in your hand without a glass of water in the other. Yep, two fisted drinking isn’t just for college kids!
Be selective of which alcohol to drink. Vodka is usually the lowest calorie, lowest glycemic rated alcohol available. Try a vodka martini, or a vodka and soda (not tonic- tonic is pure sugar.) Add a lime- it’s good for you!
Avoid the sugary alcohols. These are the biggest culprits for putting on weight. One sugary umbrella drink can pack as many as 4,000 calories in the blink of an eye!
Take a walk… or a swim… just get moving. Add a walk just after dinner or another activity you enjoy. It really doesn’t take much to counter a few cocktails.
