    p3 day6 - corrected! down 1.6 to be only 1.4 above my LIW. i'm going to eat clean: p2 only more of it with some oils/fats to cook my fish and make my shakes, and i'm going to try not to snack. i won't be eating only 3 times per day because i'm trying to build up some muscle, but i won't be having ONLY an apple as a snack - thats just sugar, i'll be having snacks that include protein every time...

    what else... oh! more good news: ezekiel bread looks to be starch free! the bad news is, i still don't know what exactly made me puke yesterday, unless it was just the release of the blocked poop.

    thanks espresso - when i'm feeling down or tired i do have a tendency to beat myself up. but yes, i can move forward, today is definitely a new day, and there are a lot of things that i can do to make sure that i still stabilize properly

    Don't beat yourself up. We all know what we do wrong, it's a strong person to accepts it and moves on from it. A little forgiveness goes a long way! Good luck with the correction, I'm sure you'll be fine!

    I would love to see your daily menu. How are you able to get your cals that high w/o starches. That is amazing. I do hope you feel better and I 2nd Expresso's comment about a clean P2 day but with more food than in P2..ie-up the fish and veggie portions till your full but only P2 veggies and keep the fats off or low. Anytime I have hovered to high I did one day of "clean" P2 but in the amount I wanted and lost.

    Do an apple day. I also read you could just eat P2 foods, but more of them, to help correct.

    The best part of P3 is all the poopin'! You might want to think about some smooth move tea next time you get backed up on P3!

    The high calorie days are the reason for the gains - but you know that already!

    Oh, and it must be the full fat greek yogurt or 2% with 1-2T of heavy cream added to each 7-8oz serving.

    I think it would have to be a steak. However, you can do a fage day. Do you eat Fage Greek Yogurt... or some other brand of good greek yogurt? That's what alot of us (meaning people that I talk to most on here) do because we can't do the steak day. I did one steak day and I don't think I've eaten a steak since. It was disgusting to eat that much meat in one sitting after starving all day. Anyway, to do a fage day (or whatever greek yogurt you choose that is nutritionally close to that of Fage) you eat 28-32oz of greek yogurt throughout the day starting at noon and ending by like 7. Drink lots of water (I usually drink about 80-100oz) and you can have coffee with cream or tea as well. With the yogurt some people eat 6oz of berries with it (spread out over the servings) or just flavor their greek yogurt with liquid stevia (vanilla creme is awesome with it if you get the amount of drops right... start off with 6 and go from there). Some people also choose to use 1tsp of sugar free jello if you don't mind using things like that. The last three times I've done a Fage day I lost 2.2lbs.     Your final weight is 137 so you can go to 139 b/f a correction day. Isn't P3 tasty? After P2 anything is tasty. Also, if at some point you go over +2 you DO NOT need to do an apple day or a steak day or a fage day. Just eat "clean". Meaning eat P2 but more of it. Anytime I hovered too close to my +2 over I ate "clean" for one day and was back to LDW. Or at least back down. So glad you're enjoying P3. Have fun!!!!

    its nice to feel normal again but how am i supposed to shop for groceries?!!? 2000 calories per day is a lot more than i've ever eaten...

    but hey - NO GAIN TODAY - 136.2 !!!! I LOVE P3!!!

    i forgot to add that my LIW was 137, in the three days of vlcd with no hcg i went down to 136.2 and my only question is - do i do a correction if i gain past 139? or past 138.2? i don't actually know which weight is my final P2 weight - 137 or 136.2??

    anyway, i don't actually think i'll gain that much. maybe .2 because i got some corn on my fish at lunch or .4 because of the corn and the ezekiel bread... even .8 because i had wine... i really can't imagine that i'll gain more than back to 137.... worrying won't get me anywhere... i'm going to go to sleep and stop thinking about it.

    shanna - the pizza IS a must - i'm from here so i also have my FAVORITE pizzas haha... i know you'll love that margarita!! i'm glad you'll get to do zumba soon, i don't like the music but its a great class... i am definitely moving to p4 - you're not supposed to do a p2 right after a p3 and all p2s have to be 23 (26) days. also, i have a wedding trip that i want to be on p4 for in november, so i'm just going to weight lift, and work out and eat healthy with a few high protein days. there's no rule that says you can't lose weight on p4 so i might try to drop 5 lbs in the month from mid october until that wedding. but no big deal if i don't. hope that answers your question.

    laura, there is no way i could hold a piece of pizza in my hand and only eat the top!! but thanks for the suggestion, thats sweet. i will DEFINITELY get enough fat in, cheeses and almonds and cashews and pistachios are huge weaknesses of mine, i'm excited that i'm allowed to eat them i had fat free cottage cheese yesterday because it was my last day of vlcd without hcg but i'll be moving to full fat now... thanks! and yes, its amazing not to worry about how food will be prepared!!

    Hey good to hear from you and congratulations on the loss!!!! That's great. BTW, on P3 I ate the top of pizza just not the crust. It was soooo worth it. You need to make sure you get enough fat in. When you said ff cottage cheese did you mean fat free or full fat? These FF's and fffs are confusing. Have a great P3. Isn't it nice to not worry how they will prepare the halibut?

    Ha ha I totally understand. I have never been to New York but I hear the pizza is a MUST! Hang in there you will have that slice (or two) sooner than you know it. AND...you may even enjoy it more feeling good about your new body
    Myself, I am looking forward to a nice big cool and refreshing margarita!
    I am really excited about going into P3 and getting back to my normal Zumba classes and weight lifting. I held off for most of the P2 just beacuse it requires so much energy. I tried a few times and it just wasnt the same with no fuel I really enjoy getting "my sweat on" and having to take it easy is not for me!
    Are you going to do P4 then? You must be, if pizza is in your near future. I am wondering what happens if you do P3 for 3-4 weeks then go back to a short round of P2?

    Any idea?

    I had no hunger and no problems the first day, the second day I had no hunger but I started crying after my pilates class because I felt weak - but this a hormone and hormones leaving your body can make you emotional I think... today I was hungry when I woke up but I took it easy and once the ravenous hunger died down I made myself a shake and it was fine. im hungry now about 3 hours later but I did an hour and a half of pilates and forgot my snack so I have to go eat a late lunch... ff cottage cheese 1/2 grapefruit and 1/2 slice ezekiel bread. And I'll still have enough calories left to eat some sushi for dinner and a small snack of grapefruit after ballet class tonight!!

    don't worry shanna, it'll feel scary but it'll all work out. I'm finding that the hardest part is realizing as I walk down the streets of NYC that it's definitely 3 weeks before I can eat any pizza hahaha - but I'm not hungry for it, just nostalgic.

    Good for you Artschool....I am going into my 3 day no hcg on Monday. Were you hungry while doing this???? I am terified I will be starving without the HCG on those 3 days. But SO looking forward to starting P3.

    Hey art school girl. Good for you. I know you want to be down even more but you are doing great. The P2 hcg diet is a bit_ _ to do as a vegetarian. Who knows if the actual foods that Dr S wants us to eat do something special. I wasn't where I wanted to be when I went to P3 but I couldn't take it any longer. I too had functions coming up where I had planned on being on P3 and it was soooooo much easier.

    You weigh less than when you started, significantly less. Although the idea of doing a second round isn't appealing I strongly suspect you will do better in the long run going to P3 when you planned to. You will lose more in the same amount of time if you add a round vs adding days to this P2. Plus it will be enjoyable.

    Think of it this way. If you had not done those 30 days you would still be 14.6 lbs heavier than you are today. Higher BMI, still upset about the weight you are and still wanting to do something to lose weight. Be thankful, you've done a good job. Lets face it on most diets it takes a good 3-6 months to lose 14 lbs with ALOT of exercise and very strict eating. So all Im saying is be happy with your accomplishment and move forward. You can always do another round soon and continue.
    It is really hard not to compare yourself to others, but everyone is different and loses differently. You should be VERY proud of yourself!!!!!!

    when I stalled, I added 2 more drops to my 3x's/day. I use homeopathic and was told that I can do that. it worked.
