I just started the diet & am today is day 5. So far in the 4 days I have lost 6 lbs ;-) On the 3rd day it looked like I lost some of my calf muscle- one one side only, not nice, so I added Apex lite protein shake which uses sucrolose (generic splenda). It does state it may contain some milk products though ;-( I only mix w/ water & have added one the last 2 days. The last 2 days I've lost 2.5 lbs but haven't noticed any muscle going ;-) I don't mind the small changes, I'm down to 148.6 from 154.6 when I started. Just want to protect my muscles.

I've used Isopure which is Whey protein in the past but unfortunately b4 I started this diet I was working out a lot (started at 160) & bought a bunch of the Apex Lite when it was on sale ;-( I contacted the site I bought the drops from & they stated the drops are the 3x, 6x, 12x, 30x, 60x. Was scared though bc HCG wasn't listed on the bottle- but I think this is their way of getting around the FDA thingy...

I haven't tried it without the coffee... but it tastes great with it!

The store does sell pure egg whites in HUGE pump jugs though which folks have has great success with for muscle building. I'll see where I am at tonight with the injection dose vs hunger and go from there. I love the idea of adding more protein back in though since I definitely DO NOT want to lose my lean muscle mass.
Ok... this is the protein shake mix I use. Bought it at the clinic so it's on protocol. Dymatize Nutrition 150/100. It is 100% Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate. Zero Fat, One Carb, zero Lactose. I have the Gourmet Chocolate version. It gives you 25g of protein per serving. 90% protein!

I don't know what they put in that food but I'm thinking it's something that is supposed to keep you buying more and more of it. I have about three boxes of it sitting in my house. Thing is... I like most of it so I might use it in P3 because I'll know exactly what the calorie intake is on each serving. What you think? *whispers* Don't tell anyone but I ate 5 cherry tomatoes before bed last night. Evil!!!!

My first round I drop HUGE my first 2 weeks and then I stalled for 8 days! After I figured out what happened, I can not eat red meats or oranges. Huge stall food for me. After I got that passed my system, I was able to drop again. Don't get down .4 is a loss so take it and run..

I like cherry tomatoes. lol. I think you're doing absolutely fantastic. And I love the idea of a mental picture of what you're losing. I think of it in terms of physical things too. A 10 lb. sack of potatoes or a couple of those. A bag of cat or dog food that I'm lifting... this is how much weight I've lost so far. It helps in terms of me keeping on. My pants not cutting into my skin leaving me permanent marks until the next morning. A 3 lb. weight loss in one day girl?! That's what I lost this WEEK!! Don't get discouraged. You're doing amazing!!!

You just got some water where your fat used to be. You will pee it out and be losing even more ASAP. A lot of women lose a lot then hold steady, then lose a lot then hold steady. So it all equals out the same in the end. Hang in there and ditch those cherry tomatoes. You are doing awesome!

I think Vineeta is right. stay on protocol.
.4 lost is .4 lost, not gained. Your body is trying to figure out what you are doing.
Love the quote...up and down. That's a great song!
    Stay true!

Oh! I didn't think of that! Thanks Vineeta for pointing that out.
