    I worked midnight years ago and I lost a lot of weight. I just ate my dinner before I went to work at night. One key is that you have to make certain you sleep the same time every day even on your days off. Your body must have a natural rhythm. Being dark and not interrupted is important too it should be as much like a regular nights sleep as possible. I am glad you posted as I was thinking about you today and wondering how you were doing. How are you liking your jobs? Looks like you are off to a good start.

    I'm on Round 2.2 So I understand where you are coming from Mel. I'm sure you are going to do great this time around! Today was loading for me and I start VLCD tomorrow.

    @Perseverance . . .I did get a job . . . or 2 . . . When it rains . . . I am happy to be here and look forward to seeing more of you . . .

    @redefiningme . . . I am happy to be back in the game too, its about time I got out of my head and out of my own way and yes I can now call myself a Nurse . . . fresh out of the water but it is real now. I am calling this Round 4.2 since this is my 2nd go at it . . . . 2 weeks of P2 for the last round does does not count and plus . . . I gained back all of the weight I lost but I am in a good place and my body has not sized up just pound..ed up. Maybe it is all in my face.

    Glad to see you are back in the game. What round are you on? Sounds like you got a nursing job; I hope you are able to adjust to your new schedule well and that you are enjoying it.

    I just started round 3... and it is a rather a season of trials for me. The good news is that I am staying on course and focused upon getting to my goal of healthy living/weight and this feels great.

    Hi hellobikini . . . I agree . . . The Leptin Reset was great for stabilizing but I have not been on it for a while and it is just going to get harder to get back into since I my hours for sleeping are now completely upside down. This whole journey is a is a big struggle but there is a balance to be found in there. We just have to get to the point where balancing becomes the habit and norm instead of something we strive for.

    I plan to start another round properly in the next couple of weeks and I am feeling a lot more optimistic about how things will work out.

    Hi Mel
    I was wondering whatever happened to Leptin Reset for you?
    I was doing it while you were doing it and you kept me inspired. However I went off gained 20lbs and am back doing hcg, something I thought I would never have to do since I discovered L.R. Oh well. It is a big struggle isn't it???
    Well again I plan to do my P3 the L.R. way as it really was working when I was working it.

    So very happy to hear from you. My wish for you is to find peace and balance. If you would like to talk --- i am here --- just PM me anytime! Sometimes I find it helpful to hear others opinions and then I can either reject them or embrace them but it does provide a different perspective and that is the biggest benefit of forums like these. There are people here from all over the world with varied experience and knowledge -- how incredible to be able to draw from them.

    I am starting another round today with homeopathic HCG --- eeek! I am watching from outside myself to see how this goes.

    I really would love to do a steak day, but it is so hard for me to get through the day without feeling STARVED!

    I am going to try one more time, tomorrow, and will have coffee with HWC until dinner...I HOPE that works because I need to get to LDW.

    Hi you two . . . Happy to be back blogging.

    Toots .. . lol . . . practing what we preach is not an easy thing is it? Knowing, saying, and doing the right thing are not always connected but a continuous and daily effort.

    I think that correction days are going to become a part of my life and I am happy that there are ways to correct. Someone mentioned something about the Dukkan Diet where there is one correction day per week . . . I briefly looked at it and the concept seems to be closely paralled to the hcg plan a bit and I found that interesting.

    Finally finished reading Weight Loss Apocalypse and I will be looking over the ideas behind the Dukkan Diet just to see the relationship with the correction days. I do not look forward to anymore reading, I feel overloaded it information sometimes.

    Hey toots! Good for you...steak day results were good! I am really with you on eating more balanced ...I want to practice what I preach. So I am making a real focused effort to add more veggies into my daily eating as well.

    There are so very many of us doing correction days a few days a week and I think we forget about the nutrition our bodies need. So good for you for taking control!

    FYI, I took the book Diet Rehab (i mentioned it the other day) on cd out of the library. I didn't realize there was a PDF file of 94 pages included. I think it's almost the whole book...I printed it off. Hehehe...hope the literary police don't come to my door! Have a peaceful night!

    I think that is the key to everything in life. If we change our thoughts everything changes. It is a constant job standing at the door of our mind but if we can control our thoughts I believe our whole life will change. i have been working on the same thing so I totally relate.Sounds like you are in a good place. Try not to deprive yourself trying to get back to your LIW. We need to be more nurturing to ourselves. Another option may be to accept where you are, stabalize and then proceed. Either way is great cause you are on the right tract and no one is going to judge you except yourself. I applaud you for getting right back up, dusting yourself off, learning from it and moving on. It takes a lot of strength and perseverance to do that. You rock girl!

    Oh sweetie...I so agree with all you have said. Blindly following protocol for anything will only give short term results. We have to dig deeper....yes! It is not easy but the rewards.... We will be unshakable in our resolve. I am so very happy to read your post today. You will do this in your own time ...for Mel! Struggles bring strength!

    WLA ...God bless you....my mind cannot absorb it yet. Maybe dr mikes protocol will help my concentration and then I can absorb more. Hehehe!
