    For the first time, I actually have to force myself to eat!!! not hungry but I know that I have about 2hrs of working out this evening and the last thing I want is my tummy growling while trying to do squats lol

    i'm tired today. not because of the hcg but because I just don't sleep well. but my muscles do hurt though and that's from the training. im teaching spin class tonight, in addition to taking a kickboxing class and working out with the personal trainer. I hope I can get through it all.

    using myfitness pal to log my food and so far ive estimated eating 800 calories today and burning 300. i'm almost certain i'm gonna burn way more than that but I prefer to underestimate the calories burned through exercise.

    I had slight hunger pangs this morning. I'm so certain that using weak drops during my loading and first 2days of vlcd is the cause of some of the residual hunger but by tomorrow night/Saturday morning I shouldn't be suffering from any hunger pangs. Also, i'm going to spread out my meals -- i.e eat every 2 - 21/2 hours

    e.g

    pre-breakfast: coffee with 1tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder 6.30am
    breakfast: a veggie/fruit or combo of both 8am
    snack: veggie/fruit or combo of both 10am
    lunch: veggie/protein 12pm
    snack: protein btw 2 and 3pm
    dinner: protein veggie/fruit at 5pm or after working out

    the way it's broken down im not actually having 3 fruits/per day. its actually only 1 fruit e.g. an apple that ive decided to split throughout the day But sometimes I may have 2 fruits -- an apple, orange/ 1/2 grapefruit.

    because I have a pretty long workout today. im eating 800 calories of which I will most likely burn about 300-500. i'm gonna have a can of tuna before I go to the gym and I already have a post workout salad made : chicken breast, lettuce and 1/4 of an apple.

    not as cold today but im thinking that it has to do with cayenne pepper drink I made today. Today's batch had much more cayenne pepper in it.
    im also super thirsty today, so been chugging water

    Update: I'm freezing cold!!! and I live in a hot climate. I had to turn of my air conditioner in my office. Like legit could wear a sweatshirt right now.

    I was hungry this morning, had some lettuce to get me through and chugged water. I'm definitely not as hungry as I was yesterday -- im guessing the patch is working. No cravings, and I've only had one piece of gum so far which is really good considering I typically go through a pack of orbits a day.

    IM SOOOOO HUNGRRYY!!!trying to chug water and I still have my workout training tonight. Gosh it sucks using old drops, I have never ever been this hungry on hcg. On a good note though, my patches have come in, so im slapping on one of those bad boys first thing tomorrow morning!!!

    Just a quick update: didn't make it to 90min but did squeeze in an hr of the bike and some lifting. Will be back at tomorrow

    This round has been something else def not mentally in the game. My first two rounds I was awesome, nothing could make me budge from sticking protocol

    Good morning just read your blog about cheating and I know the temptations arise but you have to decide on what is more important and stick to it just tell your self you don't want to eat that when the urge arises, quickly get yourself away from the temptation and do something that takes your mind off it and you will see the urge to break it will pass. You can overcome and it is nice you go workout. I never been the type to workout when I mess up and cheat I usually go overboard the rest the day so you definately have the drive.

    I definitely agree that i should shift my focus away from the scale and more to the tape measure. Instead of doing the p90x yoga today i've decided to go for a light run/walk and still continue with my correction days but add in more protein. I'm just a week into
    p4 and i'm not interested in doing another round of hcg, i know its all about taking it one day at a time but as you know with hcg diet seeing a huge jump on the scale in such a short amount of time can give a person heart palpatations lol!!

    Just wanted to say yes you can gain muscle in only 2 days especially if you are doing it right. Must people only think they are gaining muscle when it bulks but that is not the case. I am 190 lbs and a size 10-12 and that is due to working out if I focused on the scale I would freak out I focus on my clothes and my tape measure because i workout 4 times a week. My goal here is a size 5 first then LBS second. I say that to say this if your going to workout while on HCG change your focus from scale to tape measure.

    Your body has an amazing memory, so even if you didn't gain muscle in two days per say, you woke up the muscle that was there from some time ago. Do not worry, keep on exercising. I have a good book that maybe helpful to you, if you are interested write your e-mail in the private and I will send it to you. It has a lot of good recipes, smoothies, and it involves very healthy eating. Can't hurt, right, the more info we have the better equipped we are to battle this!

    I just wanted to say the same thing, you gained muscle that weights more than fat. I was going to the gym and doing group workouts for 1-2 hours a day, sweating like crazy. At first, wasn't losing any, but then I saw the results. With the right and healthy eating, lots of exercise, I lost 35 lb in three month. That was before I found out about hcg.
    SO, don't worry, keep up with the gym, you will see the results soon!

    Thanks so much for your responses. I'm going to do correction days today and tomorrow and resume p90x on monday. I'm also going to try banishing my scale for a week-- its become such an unhealthy obsession and i hate how i let it dictate my mood for the day.

    i agree - muscle weighs more than fat but takes up 1/3rd of the space, use your measuring tape instead.

    If you going to do p90x stay away from the scale and pull out the measuring tape,, your going to be building muscle and resculpting your body and muscle is heavier and sexier than fat...
