Dubbs, I do the almonds and early in P3. But..... I get the plain raw ones and bag them up into bags of 20 for 140 calories. Sometimes I just eat a few, sometimes the whole bag but I do practice portion control. Also..... Did you have 2 yogurts or just one. If it was 2 it could be 1 too many. High protein is a good plan for you. don't worry about 'meal times' though. eat when you are hungry. stop when you are full. You'll knock it right back down. AND make sure you are drinking your water!. No salt if you can do that today.

Seems to be the same here. I'll wait for the nuts until at least week 2. Never had a problem with them before though. Doing a protein day myself today to see how it goes tomorrow. We're in it together!

Sorry to hear that Dubbs. I think your right about the almonds.. unfortunately nuts seem to be something to add later for alot of people. They are pretty much my fav food so i feel your pain! I think you are on the right track witht the high protien day! Those are fun sometimes! I'm sure you will be right back on track after today!

"I want to experiment with foods I can enjoy for life"

That is EXACTLY what I wrote down this morning for my tomorrow blog (I try to get my thoughts down when I have time). It came to me last night that I don't want to add oils/fats for their sake but only if I plan on eating them after the weight is down.

I haven't made it to nuts yet but after my gain I'm going to back off and add more veg. I'll get to the fancy bits later.

And thank you SO MUCH for posting what you are eating because it gives me new ideas. The yogurt with xylitol and cocoa sounds especially appetising (and legal). I don't have xylitol yet (and I can't take Stevia) so I've saved this recipe for next week (iHerb only takes about a week to get to me).

I'm with you on the serving size of nuts, geez, can't have just a few it seems. Good thing they really are healthy. I think pistacios are even more healthy, or just as healthy as almonds!

Congratulations again to your step to P3!
Ya know, I would go with the protocol set out by Dr. S. in "Pounds and Inches". He recommends 6 weeks inbetween rounds, at the very least. And I think he is the authority. I'd go with him, honestly. Stablilizing for a few more weeks before going back to p2 could not be bad for u. Don't you agree? Let us know what u decide to do.

Feisty gave me the recipe, such as it is--just the Fage yogurt (full fat, isn't nearly as sour as the 2%), I put about 1 tsp of Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder, and xylitol to taste. I used quite a bit. I mix it, let it set up in the fridge, to sort of blend flavors, and stir real well, sort of whip, and it's like either chocolate mousse, or soft serve ice-cream. My last batch I put a few drops of Vanilla cream stevia in for flavor. Its tooo, toooo good!

Looks like a great plan to me! Making my mouth water reading your food but it doesn't take much today since I skipped my hcg this morning after having six shots. Enjoy for me too! I hope you blog your experiments and I can try them when I get there this round.

Ok I've got to try this fage...but I don't know how it's pronounced so I'm too embarassed to ask at our local health food store...the ladies there are really snooty!

Thanks for posting our P3 diet plan each day. I am 9 days way and don't have a clue, but I do know reading the P3 blogs makes me hungry for some variety!

happydj, I got my Dukes at Kroger, and we also have really good, year-round specialty fruit/produce store, called Paul's that carries it as well. If you don't have a Kroger around, you should talk to the manager of your local big chain grocer, ask them to look into purchasing it. Once it's in the markets it will be sold, it has no added sugar, and I luv it. My husband, a huge Kraft mayo person all his life, now prefers Dukes. Yummy.

    Congrats on the stabilizing.
Thank you for the P3 menus, I've been compiling a file of successful ones from the forum. P2 eatting has gotten pretty simple so I am a bit anxious to change it up
I'm having a heck-of-a-time finding Dukes Mayo...any chance you can tell me where you picked yours up?
Cannot wait for P3, but love, love, loving P2!
