    Chin up kid . . You can drink stuff . . . so . . drink . . drink . . drink . . It will be dinnertime soon.

Laugh at yourself a bit today while you are watching the clock waiting for dinnertime to hurry up and come . . . It is just one more day on the road to where you need to go . . .

You're not alone...I have bunches of food sensitivities...one of them...egg whites! They are in everything! Good luck!

Thanks I think I'm going to have to do away with eggs (for now) tomorrow unless the scale changes significantly overnight. I do weigh at night just to see the difference between night and morning. Judging by what I am tonight, unless it drops more than it ever has overnight, means a steak day tomorrow... boo. Love steak but don't want to starve all day!

Since you had eggs again today and no ham, you should be able to tell what you are reacting to tomorrow. Remember besides the salt, nitrates and nitrites were also likely ingredients. They can also cause issues. Most cold cuts and sausages and bacon contain these as well and Not easily tolerated. If you don't see an improvement tomorrow, nix the eggs for a while and retest later. Good luck!

Thanks I went ahead and had 1.5 eggs (deviled type) today as part of my protein. I guess only time will tell! I think you are both right in thinking it was mostly the ham. Now if only I could have a good bm! This mirilax is helping.... but could be better! I just ordered some digestive enzymes and pro-biotics online, hopefully they will be here sooner rather than later!!

Some people are sensitive to eggs but I think the culprit is more likely the ham . . . cured with sugar . . . P3 . . no sugar and exxo on the salt because that causes water retention. Lose the ham and see what happens. 1.8 above LDW is ok . . . Steak day when you go over the 2 lb window by even an ounce.

    Good luck

My first inclination is to blame the ham (sodium bloat). Also consider the fact that you ate more (quantity) food yesterday than you have in quite a while and if it is all still sitting in your digestive tract it could cause the scale to go up (or if you have not been able to relieve your bowels). I would just keep drinking water and see what happens tomorrow. Personally, I would try the eggs again and not rule them out until I had more conclusive data.

Thanks ladies. I guess the worst that can happen is doing a steak day. I am nearly 4lbs up from this am, so I'm concerned, but I'll have to worry about it tomorrow morning. So at this point I'm not sure if the gain is from the eggs (sensitive to them) or all the ham, cuz I had a LOT. I've been drinking a ton of water, but still no bm. I don't think I've went for week or so

I am proud of myself, tho, not eating the stuff I could of today. I didn't cheat, just ate too much ham. lol. I even made brownies tonight and didn't eat one, so that's something I guess

Take a deep breath. It will just take some time to adjust to P3. I'm sure it will all work out.
By the way, EXCELLENT job on avoiding the breads and treats! Try to focus on your accomplishments.

About the lack of action in the bathroom... try some tea with senna, like Tradtional Medicinals Smooth Move. Drink a cup before bed and it will help you in the morning.

Dont freak out-if you're off for more than 2lbs you can always look forward to a steak day Push more water and that will help you have a bm.

YES, I'm wondering the same thing!! I know when I added 1.5oz of chicken a few days ago, I couldn't finish it. I'm sure your hunger has to change and you have to get full fast cuz we have been eating next to nothing!! I seriously doubt my desire and taste for things will change tho. I don't see myself going back to pop, cuz I think it'll burn my throat too much, but other than that, I'm just going to be smart about my choices with good portion control

lol fried chicken is my major weakness as well-but I like it with spanish rice and ranch dressing. I could eat a ton of rice and 2lbs of chicken. I heard that your taste for things change after doing vlcd. Will you let me know if that happens to you? I'd also like to know if the size of your appetite changes compared to before you started hcg

Thanks! I'm so excited for you too I feel fine, no hunger. I was really wondering how I'd be, but so far so good. Only 8 more hours or so til bed and I can dream about my breakfast in the morning. I dreamt last night that I had fried chicken & mashed potatoes and gravy. I know the potatoes are a no no, but really want me some fried chicken THIGHS!!
I'm SO glad the scale moved too, it's about time!! I hope I can stick to my plan. My mom just texted me she is making ham and mashed potatoes and gravy for lunch. I'll be having ham! I am *debating* on having a small scoop of potatoes and picking at them so she doesn't too many questions. My whole family will be there loading up on bread, potatoes, and ham and I really don't want a bunch of questions IDK what to do. Sundays after church are the only days I cannot avoid eating lunch over there. I'm totally at her mercy!! Ahhhhh!

I am glad to see the scale finally moved... I am sure it was a relief for you. Sounds like you have a good plan for transitioning into P3. Hope it goes well for you and keep us posted.

Thanks girls. I have decided to stop. My 48hrs will end Sunday morning, and ph 3 will begin! I'm happy with this decision. Even this morning, I got up a few times and started to see stars and blackening. I'm done. This just is no longer safe. I must need more calories. Hope I can handle the next 2 days with no hcg and vlcd!! Thanks again, I really appreciate it. It is JUST a number. I feel good right now with how I look, I'm looking forward to some reshaping or inches to lose in next 2 phases, but for now I'm good!
