I've only lost 15.4 lbs in 25 days because I stalled for almost 2 weeks, hang in there, I did.

Try to hang in there every one is different I gained stalled then lost only oz I got so frustrated that I cheated big time and now I'm on day 28 and ive only lost 21lbs ,I shouldve lost so much more I have 100lbs to lose so at this rate they'll be at least 5 rounds ,it's hard to lose so fast and so much in the first two weeks then slow or stop ,but think about what you've lost if you was on any other diet it would take at least 2 months to lose what you lose in two weeks ,keep ur head up

Most of us "fattys" have been dieting all of our lives - for me that is 65 years! While HCG is helping me loose weight, it is not going to change my natural inclination to gain weight. If I want this weight to stay off, I will have to follow the instructions: P3 - An Adkins-like diet with a DUTY to weigh everyday. If I gain - DEAL WITH IT THEN... with a restriction of food or a Steak Day. P4 - Carefully, slowly add in a few carbs, with a DUTY to weigh everyday. If I gain - DEAL WITH IT THEN... with a restriction of food or a Steak Day!

HCG is NOT a magic bullet - it is an aid to getting things under control. After that, it is up to us!! I understand totally your fears... and let those fears direct you into thoughtful eating.

I did gain most of mine back but that was totally my fault. I stopped weighing myself and ate whatever I wanted...not the best choice. I think that after you get to your goal, as long as your smart about what you eat and have accountability for yourself your going to be good. It's when you get comfy and say ohhh I'll have that cheeseburger (all the time) and don't get on the scale to moniter how it affected you, is when your going to have problems I think...It more of a life style change than a "diet"....change your mind...change your body

Well this isn't a diet and if people view it that way and just go back to regular ways they will gain it back and more. It is just like cheating and not following protocol it doesn't work on this program. It is a program to change your metabolism and reset your hypothalamus. It is not a diet per say. You have to follow it exactly for it to work correctly. If you think you can go back to how you ate before this program you are wasting your time here. Sorry.

I made a soup tonight. I am EXTREMELY strictly on protocol. I don't use stocks. Just seasonings in water. I rough chopped an onion and a little garlic, seasoned the heck out of it. Cooked it til the onions were slightly translucent, threw in my chicken breast chunks, and after a few minutes added 1.5 cups of water. Let it simmer for 20 minutes. It was a nice change. I am on vlcd27 so i know what you mean about foods geting BORING!
Also, it was so much i couldn't finish it. I made sure to eat the protein though.

whomever developed the program you are on, got the idea for Dr. Simeon who wrote Pounds and Inches, and created the hcg diet. The program you are on is more restrictive than it needs to be. If you want more variety, click the link I gave you above. That is the list of allowed foods from the original protocol. This list was developed by a Doctor, who studied the effects of hcg for several years before he found the "right foods" - all of this is in pounds and inches.

Just curious, but do you not eat red meat? You are allowed to have beef. I buy ground beef from Sunflower Market (not sure if you have one near you, but its like a Trader Joe's). My ground beef is only 2% fat, which is exceptional. You really shouldnt be eating the chicken for both meals. But, some people do and it doesn't affect them negatively. With the ground beef I make chili (ground beef and tomato), or I make a noddle-less spaghetti. Its all about the seasonings. There are tons of sites out there with recipes. You can just google "HCG recipes" and a bunch will come up. You should only be limited to seasonings that do not have salt or sugar in them. You should ALWAYS check the labels.

I do not like crutons so they were all off! =) it was just the salad, grilled chicken and VERY light dressing, thanks for making me feel better. the limited amount of foods i can eat is killing me since i am such a picky eater!

Read Weight Loss Apocalypse it will explain how this is not a diet and you can't just go off of it like another diet and expect it to change your metabolism. It is a little dry in parts but really worth reading. So just pick yourself back up and get back in the game and do the work. Read Pounds and Inches too.

Working out will not affect your losses at all. I work out every round - but have worked out for years do to injuries I have. There is nothing you can do to speed that up. I would only work out if it already is a lifestyle for you - it is for me and I didn't quit, I also scaled back - you can feel the difference in burning fat vs burning carbs like we use to. It may even be bad for you if your not use to it already.
