I am impressed with your progress. You should be so happy with such daily large losses. I may have one day every week where I lose 1 pound, most days are .2, .4, .6.
Keep up the determination and hard work!

Yay! You're making steady progress. I totally commend your choices at your retreat. I'm not sure I would have been able to salvage something that close to protocol if I were in the same situation. It's not perfect, but it could have been far worse.

I'm definitely checking out this cooking link! I've primarily pulled from the Tammy Skye cookbook. I'm not much of a chef but I've found that I enjoy it when it's new and it's following a recipe. That somehow makes it more fun. Thanks for the recommendation! New resources are always awesome.

I will never ever use depo again.
My doctor and I found an amazing pill, and it's simple!

Incredible progress! Good on you for planning ahead with a cooler of snacks that are safe for you. How is your weekend full of temptation going? I hope you'll have a strong resolve. If you do end up cheating, forgive yourself, and push forward. You've got this!

It looks like you're going to hit your goal and then some. What wonderful encouragement!

I was on depo for over two years and it was a huge pain in the rear end for me weight-wise, although seriously the most convenient birth control I've ever experienced. I hope your body will be kind while you wean yourself away. Are you planning to stay off depo indefinitely or just for your diet rounds?

Have fun on date night! I was thinking the same thing tonight, going to a movie, but there wasn't anything I wanted to see at the discount theater. If he hasn't had his 2nd fruit, he could always have you take sliced apples with lemon/stevia in a bag (stuffed in your purse) with a small wet wipe. That should help with the snack cravings! Great losses too Maggie!

You should give him a pat on the back, a pinch on the butt, and the motivation to stay on protocol.

I think that's probably a good idea! I was thinking 'why aren't there orange slices!' they are all middle school athletes (basket ball player, a runner and a football player)...we should be eating healthy!

Glad you survived the temptation of those cookies! You can do it Maggie, and great job on your losses! The first week is the best and then you start slowing down into week 2 and 3 that I've noticed. Maybe next time you could bring a snack too of a healthier choice like a veggie tray?
