I've spent a great deal of time on the forums, forging virtual friendships, offering supports, experiencing highs and lows of others, and Thankfully, gaining support from many of you.

That being said, this is not the place for me any longer. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Too much bickering, too much judgement, and far too many unqualified know it alls.

I wish the best to everyone on this journey. Somewhat sad to branch off on my own, but I think it will be more mentally peaceful.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with some parts of the forum. Have you considered creating a group on here? There are quite a few of them and you can make it private so that only certain people can join.

    That way, if you have other members that you've become friends with you can still chat with them about how things are going.

    Anyways, just a suggestion.

    Thank you for your time so far and whatever help you've provided other members, it is what makes this forum work

    I haven't met one know-it-all yet. Guess I got lucky. I sure appreciate any information anyone has to share with the group and will take what I can use and leave the rest.

    This is a TERRIFIC forum, IMO, and I hope people share whatever they want to share and don't hold back! Please keep posting! You're all keeping me sane and helping me change my thinking about food.

    Thanks for your message, Jarret. Yes, I've considered it. I've considered a number of things. In fact, it's largely the reason I'd taken to "blogging" rather than participating in threads. My heart just isn't in it any more. I appreciate all the hard work you put into maintaining this site - it's definitely a great resource. It's just not my M.O. for the time being. I'm sure I'll lurk from time to time, as I had for quite some time before I ever registered or posted. Thank you for what you do, J!

    I am sorry to hear this. I am not on here a lot, just once a day usually. You have been an inspiration to me on these boards. You comment on my blog posts and are always encouraging. When I see your Name attached to a comment or post I always read it.
