  4. VLCD23 A Substantial Loss Day of 2.2#

    Ok I am so very excited! I think I have finally found out how to work the pound loss portion of the protocol for me (hopefully).

    I lost 2.2# in one day. It is either what I am eating & drinking or the timing. Regardless of the reason I will try it again today, without the radish (I forgot the radish). I will have to double up on the lettuce today.

    Ok so let's see if I can recreate the events of yesterday to get another one pound loss today and each day going forward.

    Never thought I would be so very happy to see a 0.6# weight loss.

    Well it is all about pounds and inches. The inches are getting lower or is it lessening? I am sure the scale will have no choice but to follow the inches.

  7. VLCD14 OMG I Love This Diet!!

    OMG. I do not know of any other diet but this one - where you can go from a size 22 to a size 14 in 13 days!! Even though the scale still has not moved, a week ago my size 20 jeans were tight. Yesterday a friend told me the jeans were too big. Yes I want to go yelling and screaming to the top of my lungs of how happy and pleased I am with the Protocol.

  8. VLCD 12 Three Days and No Change

    Even though in the last three days, I have not lost any weight , I am still in ketosis and my clothes are getting looser .

    When I got dressed this morning, I could not believe that I could not fit anything in my closet (except one pair of pants, which I had already worn twice this week). I am saving money on not buying a lot of food which lightens the blow of having to purchase new clothes. Tomorrow, I am planning to go shopping for a couple of new outfits.

  9. VLCD10 No More Bragg's

    Well further proof that my body does not like Bragg's. I awoke this morning to a 3# loss!! Go figure.

    I guess it is like having an allergic reaction to a food. My body appears to react to Bragg's by holding onto water (bloating) .     Ok so maybe now I have gotten it through my thick skull that I gain weight when I use Bragg's.

    Last night I used the chicken broth from the chicken crockpot recipe to make French Onion Soup. The soup was out of this world delicious.
