  2. Round 2 TAKE TWO???

    So here I am again... now where have I been? That's a long story:
    July 12th we were told that my hubby was out of the Navy in 10 days and that we were to pack our 2000+ sq ft house and move wherever (in our case it would be a big move from Connecticut to Las Vegas, NV because that is where we had a job waiting for him in the likely instance that the Navy pulled exactly that crap).   3. Round 2 moving along, but missing P3 and P4...

    I know I'm full of excuses, and I feel like that's what this blog will be, but I have to get my thoughts out of my head as they're bouncing around right now and jumbling with everything else...
    I was SO excited to get back to P2. I was ready to lose again and I was ready for the tighter, more stringent - and frankly, easier to follow - eating plan since my life is in turmoil while we leave our lives in the military, pack our house and move across the country.

  4. Round 2 under way, feeling good!!!!!!

    Wow, been too long since I blogged! But I know it's the best way to keep motivated, so here I go again!
    R2P2D2 and feeling great. Lost all of my loading weight on VLCD1 and happy about that (as anyone would be I'm sure)...and it was a pretty big chunk of loading weight. But that's okay, it's gone now.
    Eager to get the sugar out of my system. Now that I know, now that I've actually EXPERIENCED the energy of P2, I'm excited. The sugar cravings (that I don't remember from the first time ...

  5. SEVEN YEAR LOW! Holy crap...

    Today is VLCD 37 for me. R1P2, almost over and I don't want it to be because the transformation in my body is so fantastic! I just want to keep losing!

    I am now at a 7 year low, a BIG one for me My milestones have been -

    1. threw out my size 14 jeans! (VLCD12)
    2. out of "obese" BMI category! (VLCD13)
    3. TWO year low! (VLCD21)
    5. 10% loss! (VLCD26)
    6. SEVEN year low!!! (VLCD 37)

    Hubby is super excited with me. ...

  6. Long time no check in...

    Last blog was 12 days ago? Well, in my defense, I've been on the go the entire time. I'd love to have seen my kids and husband a bit during this time, but it's in the near future

    Today was VLCD28 for me and I'm down 16.1 lbs (from 188.3 - before loading - down to my current 172.2). I'm super proud of myself because I have literally been out of town for 2 weeks. whew. Kickin' butt though. I'm on a roll. Why stop now?

  7. Out of town? No problem! ;)

    Well a little bit of planning has taken me a long way toward successfully sticking on protocol, I'm SUPER pleased to say

    I'm about to go to bed for the second night out of town and I have been 100% on plan, drinking tons of water, and not even tempted to go astray. (But why would I when I'm getting such great results? "When you cheat, you only cheat yourself"... don't know who said that, but it's definitely worth remembering)

  8. Moving along just fine! I guess the Protein Shakes work okay for me!

    So I tried out a Jay Robb whey protein shake. I had one for my lunch yesterday with a steamed artichoke and strawberries. I needed to test to see if I gained this morning. Going out of town for the next 3 days and being stuck in a hotel is going to be difficult, and a fellow dieter gave me the FANTASTIC idea of trying a protein shake. After just a little bit of calling around to find this particular product (one of the 3 local GNC's carried it) I was able to go pick some up. I tried it yesterday ...

  9. VLCD14 is underway :)

    I'm really happy with my progress so far. Since my last post I have lost another 1.4, so I've achieved one of my biggest goals: to be out of the "OBESE BMI" category!!!

    Yep, 179.2 lbs at 5'5" puts me at merely, well, fat. LOL hahaha. But I'm on my way down! Another 29 lbs and I'll drop out of the "OVERWEIGHT" category and into the "NORMAL" BMI category. But I have a few milestones in between that I get to look forward to, so I'm not ...

  10. Okay, this I can handle :)

    So yesterday, lesson learned, today, made up for it

    The +0.4 on the scale yesterday was made up for with the -1.5 this morning, yay! I was very good about water yesterday (though it wasn't hard as my new teas came in the mail the night before so I was drinking a ton of hot tea yesterday plus a lot of water since I have a sore throat, swollen tonsils, my ears are bugging me, a little sinus pressure... just kind of trying to flush it all away...). I had chicken at both meals; salad ...
