Today I am 2.4 lbs over last dose weight. I had a handful of chips last night and knew that this would be the outcome. Yes, I was hoping that I would be one of those who can eat that sort of thing but can't. On occasion when I am at goal I may have some chips if I am prepared to do a steak day to clean up the mess. Hum. I wonder what's for dinner tonight....STEAK day. One more week till round 2 starts. Getting kind of excited to see the scale going down again.

    Ugh, sorry to hear about your chip sensitivity, Bavs. I'm staying as far away from potatoes and bread as I can, even though I am (or was?) a big lover of fries, chips, mashed potatoes, tater tots, etc. I find that whenever I'm in the mood for something crunchy and salty, home-popped popcorn satisfies that craving. Do you have any corn sensitivities right now?

    Hi Miley. I haven't tried corn yet. My kids don't favor it so I rarely have it in the house. Chips aren't really food anyway. I do okay with the Bean tortilla chips, so that can be my crunch treat every now and then. I haven't done many carbs as I had gestational diabetes and suspect that I will simply need to be paleo and low glycemic fruits and veggies for the most part. I'm thrilled that I get yogurt and cherries; and many cheeses. So it's a good trade off.

    Bavs!!!! I have missed you! You have done wonderful...so happy for you. I know your gonna kill your next round and be at goal in no time. I am telling you, we have this new way of life down pat...you dont need to worry...life is good after hcg. I will update my blog later and see where i am at.. at work today so just wanted to keep it short for now!

    Pooks!!!! I have missed you too!!! Yea, I can't wait to read your post. Did you see that Yep is back? She's doing another round and posted the other day. Yes, I believe now that I need to eat and get in good fats--no processed food unless I are prepared for a steak or FFF day following. Looking forward to hearing about life off hcg.

    Yay for round 2!! What's even better is I get to go through my round 3 as you do it. As for the chips sorry they didn't work. You have been doing great though and only 2.4 above LDW that is not bad at all. Keep it up!!!

    Thanks yep. Read pooks post to you and she's right. Who cares that you had a gain. You know what to do and you know the good stuff we get in p3. Let that reward keep you from going off protocol. It's not forever😇and we get forever to be able to eat normally. It's ok about the chips. I already knew that was not gonna work for me.
