Question RE: Apple Day

Hi Everyone! Okay, I need direction! I decided on Friday to do an apple day from noon Sat until noon Sun. When I woke up Sat morning, I ate my first apple and by mid-morning signs of TOM were present. I continued my apple day as planned and woke up at 3:00AM STARVING!!! I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep but my tummy was speaking. I got up and ate 100 grams of grilled chicken in 3 romaine lettuce leaves. I was so worried that my apple day would be in vain but I awoke again this morning and was down 2.4 pounds! I did eat lunch but my question is, do I skip dinner since I ate twice this morning? I feel like my schedule if off! To be honest, I'm not hungry and really want to eat another apple and start my day over again tomorrow. I have 4 days left on VLCD and don't want to stall or gain. I'm down 21.4 today.
