  1. Crazy Wild Unexplainable Losses and Gains

    I'm going absolutely batty trying to figure out my body. So Saturday was VLCD of Round 3 for me, and I was thrilled to wake up to a 2 pound loss! I was even more thrilled to wake up Sunday to a 2.7 pound loss, seemed unbelievable, but the scale was not lying. I had weighed the night before and it was really low then too.   2. R3 P2 Day 10, predictable

    So after 9 days of VLCD, I woke up to a net loss (not including my 3.5 pounds of loading weight) of 10.3 pounds from my pre-load weight, which I'm totally psyched about. The funny thing is that I went back to my R1 and R2 losses, and on day 9 of each round, I had lost the EXACT same amount of weight!! (net). I guess I can say my body is predictable.

  3. p3 wk 1 only 1 FFF day

    Well, I've been on p3 R2 one week. I tried adding in too much too fast this time (afterall, it was my second round and I already knew I didn't have any real sensitivities). Well, I learned week 1 is still too soon to try to eat everything, especially going crazy on the bacon. I bought that really nice thick cut bacon and didn't worry about the sugar free or nitrate free thing.     Well, I stalled for 5 days in the third week of p2, so decided to quit at 23 days so I didn't burn out since I've got a few more rounds to do. I just thought I'd share a few of my snack and meal ideas for P3 for those looking for quick and easy things to eat.

  5. Losing slowly, but noticing BIG changes in body

    Well, I'm on Day 17 of VLCD Round 2. I just gained .6 this morning, and you'd think I'd be upset, but I'm not. I know I've been following protocol and my body is just going to decide to hold on to some extra water some days. I can feel it in my wedding ring.   6. R2 P2 D11 Down 11 + 3 Load pounds Cooking for 3 weeks

    Well, despite TOM, the scale keeps inching down, allthough it's moving much slower right now.

    Yesterday, my friend who is also doing hcg came over and we prepared our next 3 weeks worth of meals (1 a day). We're both school teachers, and we wanted to have something easy grab and go for these next few weeks. It was exhausting, but is going to be so great!!!

  7. TOM, .4 gain, and a refund....Oh My!

    Well, I woke up this morning to a .4 gain and TOM, coincidence? I think not. I also didn't sleep much last night due to the IRS audit this morning, to which we are actually getting a $75 refund due to the fact that I forgot to include some deductions at the time that I found later on.   8. VLCD 7 down and Tax Audit tomorrow.

    Round 2 is SOOO much easier than Round 1 for me. I didn't wait the full 6 weeks between rounds because I'm on hhcg and I only did 23 days in the first place. I know it's not a good idea to do that, but I was in a scheduling hurry. I'm so glad I started back up, because this time I'm not having absolutely NO hunger issues, no headaches, no cravings.   9. 7 pound in 2 days! Woohoo

    I cannot believe that I lost 7 pounds in my first 2 days of VLCD. This is my second round and I did not lose this quickly on the first. I'm so happy. Round 1 I took homeopathic hcg, but I didn't know you are supposed to shake it to activate it. This round, I started shaking it and have not had the hunger issues like last time, but that could be because my body is used to it and/or I'm not detoxing of the junk.   10. What I learned from Round 1

    Well, I did 23 days on homeopathic hcg, then did 3 weeks of pretty perfect p3 (had some bacon that wasn't sugar free, but I think it was still in the spirit of P & I. I figure Dr. S. didn't have nutrition labels to read, and I doubt he meant bacon when he said no starches or sugars. I think he probably meant the obvious offenders). P3 was awesome, and I only had to do 1 steak day, no matter how much I ate and how good and fattening it tasted (of course I did not eat starches or sugars). ...
